That's actually probably not bad. There's no open splices.
When you want to run separate circuits to everything you end up with a lot of wire.

Decided to test the arb air pump this morning on the way to work to make sure everything was working for the clean up.....flip the switch and it didn't pump up.....

You're not required to attach the wires to anything, that's why you can just bore holes in studs and feed wire through them. It's definitely a mess but it's probably to code.
I even see a lot of yellow and orange wires, so they're at least using lower gauge wire for higher amperage circuits.
I'm waiting for Ken to chime in, but he probably still doesn't have electricity :shhh:
You know if you ran autolockers this wouldn't happen. If it comes down to it, you could strap your welding gas tank in the back and get some adapters.

Good point!
Budget won't allow a car payment right now, especially since we are trying to buy a house. She will drive the XJ whenever I can get time to work on it, and I know she will like driving it more than the truck

Mine is also stuck on defrost only. That's the default setting when there is something wrong with the adjusters. But you probably already knew that. I guess I should start looking at mine. I'll let you know what I find with mine.

Nah I am actually working at work :moon: I have had power back for a few weeks now on my new panel and auto transfer switch.
If you pass wires through bored holes you don't need to secure them, but cables which aren't supported that way are supposed to be stapled every 4 feet (iirc? might be less) as well as within 6" of every box. I agree that I'll take a tangle of wire that looks like that over flying/open splices any day of the week however. It's ugly and could use twenty bucks in staples, but it's not going to set things on fire...

Heat control stuff is vacuum operated. Most likely a leak somewhere in the line that goes to them.
