my management staff fracked up and now all the employees that made my job easier are pissed off and want to leave.... i had a good one walk out on sunday.


i have an offer on the table with them that will triple what i make but it would mean a commitment to a career in the biz....

That's sucks. I wish the guy my old man hired to work as my new reach two months ago would put his two weeks in. Errogant, know it all, douche bag!
 
He will be making more than I could pay him but he would be worth every penny.....Not to start interviewing all the dumb asses that think they "deserve" the job.

Good luck, this guy was the first with any experience that wanted to accept what we were offering, and now I know why the die shop he worked at before ran him off.

Winterfest this year will be held on March 7-8.

SOP is official trail rides in the morning and free-for-all in the afternoon both days.

Group picture will be after official runs on Saturday, I believe. It's normal after the picture to have an hour or two dedicated to an un-official event. WF12 was a tug-o-war. WF13 was Barbie Jeep races.

Thursday is a gathering of folks at Robie's for dinner. All are welcome.
Friday is the potluck dinner held in the campground.
Saturday is the catered dinner, awards ceremony and raffle at the VFW followed by a MWC style bonfire at the campground. It goes on until the last one drops. Even for an old fart, our President, Dan (Fore Wheeler) Wheeler, is dedicated to making it to top 3 survivors well after midnight.

Extra and warm clothes are highly recommended for the weekend. We have seen all sorts of weather at WF and never quite know what to expect to come out of the sky.


Come check it out. Winterfest is like a bag of Lay's chips. You can't have just one. Or maybe it's like Pringles. Once you pop, you just can't stop.

Yea o'hare would probably be your best bet for cheapest tickets. That's where I fly out of. So you are staying over at mac's house or for down at winterfest?
 
One of the chi-town guys could get you in Chicago.

Indy doesn't have a good price? People could get you from there as well.

I will have something that you can sleep in.

MBS and a 6 hour drive with me. ;) I leave Wednesday before the event, come home Sunday.

Call me and we can make secret squirrel plans.

I have a secret that I'm keeping in the event it doesn't happen.
 
I won't be rolling in til late Thursday night. My sons 3rd b-day is Thursday. So we are spending the day with him then leaving.

We may just grab a hotel Thursday night not sure yet.

Looks like I can fly to anywhere within about a $30 difference. I wouldn't mind riding down with you...or John...or Mac. Crap. Guess I should flip a coin.
 
Well it sounds like you got some choices there Dr Moab. I'm about an hour away from Matt and about 3 hours away from Chicago. We will be heading down to Attica on that Thursday night.

Whats your secret Dan? I won't tell anyone.
