Re: Re: Important

This made me giggle...

Cheese "hot dogs anyone?" Man

that made me giggle

Dan not a fan of the JCR i take it..

bought my spacer from C-rok long before JCR ever made one.

Ahhhh, no. There was a time they were great supporters of our club, but their past actions have changed that, imho.

JCR stands for Jesus Christ Rocks. (true story)

There's no doubt, they make a good product.

Buffalo Wild Wings makes a good product too, you won't see me eating there.

If Dylan comes Friday to swap boxes and we build spacers I will have a good stock spacer for sale. Lets start the bidding at one Winterfest beer.....

side note: JCR opinions are solely my opinion (and others), and not the opinion of NAXJA or the MWC. I'm an old f**k and I've seen things to bring me to these opinions. To make things fair, JCR doesn't like me either. (hummm, maybe cuz I speak my mind)

new topic:

Batteries: I've used Optima Red and Yellow tops. What are the rest of you using with winches?

I think I have a Duralast in my pile right now :o

We are running a heavy duty Napa brand battery in Suzi's jeep and she has a winch on it. Has done good so far.

Right now I'm running a used battery out of one of my parts jeeps. When I can afford one I'm buying a sears diehard.

Because I hate Optimas. I've had two fail on me. The first one failed in 6 months. Got it warrantied. The second one failed in less than a year. Left me stranded in the middle of nowhere. I bitched up a storm, got my money back and have been running regular old car batteries with much greater success ever since.

I ran a red top in the Jeep for years, no problems of any sort, and ran my Ramsey flawlessly. Ran yellows in my PSD..wish I would have kept them. I think mac runs yellows in his F350 as well.

If I can find a Durango box Friday morning I will be there.
Will have to be somewhat early, have a campsite reserved.

oh, and yes, blues are marine batteries. Camilles folks have a stack of them in their house boat and they have been great, I had 2 in my Baja and they both went to shit in 3 years...but it was never a constant use enviroment and it sat for months at a time....should have had a trickle charger on them in hindsight.
