Where do I buy a case spreader? I have a few axles that need seals and wouldn't mind having one so I don't have to dick with the diff

You don't need a case spreader...ever

Open end wrench on a ring gear bolt against the case and turn the pinion yoke or driveshaft gets them out

Rubber mallet gets them in

Rubber mallet works, but I'm getting tired of beating on things, so I've been thinking about getting or making a case spreader as well.

Didn't use one on the 8.8 or the 30. I put a full spool in the 8.8 on the tailgate of the truck.

I was going to just make a case spreader.... You really should use one to get preload right. Not a huge deal for a trail rig but street rigs I think it has a lot to do with how the bearing wears

Trying to decide if I want to fix all the stuff wrong with this 2 door or just find a solid donor to swap the suspension/axles/lift to. I bought it mainly for the good parts anyway.

Making a laundry list now, we'll see how it all adds up.
