Important

I must be crazy. Driving to Richmond, IN tomorrow to trade the ZJ for the 2 door XJ I posted earlier. Pretty good deal IMO, and my username will be correct again :D
You make me sad.
I just spent $200 on concert tickets for tomorrow, my 5 year old daughter just about cried she was so happy. I am so glad she likes Jason Aldean like that and not justin bieber...
I am not a country fan. But I would much rather spend the time at a country concert than at any new pop star's show. Especially Bieber junk.
Ok spill the beans! What's the story with this chick? I've never even heard of her.
Same here. Inquiring minds would like to know. Maybe I should call Sean?

I'll give you that. Better than the last time you got rid of a Jeep.

Any further word on the housing situation?

Tihh.

Back to square one on the house. Our buyer backed out.

If it was in Terre Haute, you could have possibly had a potential buyer. Knowing the price range Sarah is looking and what her requirements are, it probably wouldn't be what she wants. It scares me how much she is looking at, especially for a first home. Of course it probably is affordable to her with her job.

First home doesn't have to be short term. If it's nice enough, affordable and something that you won't outgrow quickly, there's no reason to worry about whether it's your first home or 5th home. As long as you can afford it.

30 year mortgage for responsible people is a lot different than a 16 year old kid with a 91 Civic.

I'm babbling. This may not make sense. I'm rather tired.:dunce:

A question for the oldtimers of this chapter. Dora Fong just moved in my area and is trying to get on an exclusive jeep email list I'm on. Before I warn them about her, what should I tell them? I never got caught up in that drama.

Feel free to pm me if you want.

You should tell them exactly what you know for sure... Nothing.

I still own my 1st house - 25 years later. It was affordable.

My point exactly.

At least someone understood me tonight. I can barely understand myself.

It's not that far from TH... :D

Yeah, I was ready to voice objections at a house that was 10 miles away from downtown. I would like to be about 3-4 miles from work for now. Once I get a DD that gets great gas mileage, distance won't matter much.

I get what you are saying, but this maybe truly short term (as in 10 years). Sarah's parents are already talking 10-15 years down the road they might not want to take care of 3 acres of land. If that happens, the property would go to her brother and her. Her brother has a job in Indy, so it would go to us. We are trying to buy a house that both Sarah and I like along with her parents. I love her parents property, the fact that no one lives behind them makes a great place to shoot.

Based on what? Something you know about her? Your opinion of her or just feel that way in general? I don't have any plan to say anything to anyone about a situation I know nothing about. That's why I'm trying to find something out.

She's trying to join a very close knit, selective group of friends. If she's the type to bring problems to the group I feel they should at least be made aware of past problems. If they still decide to let her in, fine but at least they would know.

2 and 3. Dora used to be part of the MadXJ Group, and I have also wheeled with her. I have also done business with her when she ran her own Off-Road shop.

Speaking strictly for myself, any group that would prevent me from joining based on my past, or (and especially) hearsay, I would tell them to fook off.
I am kinda pissed off that someone would solicit hearsay from the peanut gallery about someones past reputation.

When someone gets kicked out of a club like Naxja and when you piss them off to the point they put your name in the language filters for a long time is usually a bigger issue than a little squabble.

I'd never suggest they not let some just in based on hurt feelings or bad friendships or anything like that. It just seems to me these were much bigger issues. I'm only trying to find out what they were.

People get kicked out of this Club all the time.
Doesn't mean much in the scheme of things.

Besides, if it's the same Dora I'm thinking of, you got the name wrong.
