You know, I attend the WF event every.... few decades.

And every year, I invite folks up to AVF for one of their 2 Summer events...
Again this year, no NAXJA folks...

Do you Housewives even wheel in the Summer? :D

And it's not just here.
Most recent: The literal meltdown of the NWC Chapter. The issues at a SoCal event...

And it comes and goes as do the Members who are affected. When this Club is good, it is very good. When this Club is bad, it gets very very bad; to the point where long time Members drop out and leave because of the excessive personal attacks on the Member instead of civil arguments about an idea.

There are "Lifetime Members" on the Roster we will never see again. Either at events or on the Forum. Why? Their own reasons, their own story. That is why I don't take too much stock in the idea that a person's present attitude or actions are attached to getting kicked out of NAXJA at some point in the past.

There are adds and detracts from this Internet Based Club approach and keeping a Forum running. An add is that people communicate more. A detractor is that people in general don't know how to communicate with just a keyboard. Myself included.

I don't know what to make of Josh's claim that if we were an actual Club that many of us would not belong because we wouldn't make it though the screening process... Hmmm... If that's true Josh, then we are a sad lot.

We all need to wheel more and Forum less. With the price of gas and the fact that the nearest trail from here is 3-4 hours, I don't get out as much as I used to.

I still own an XJ.
 
looked at a couple Archive MWC pages didn't find anything on her. what i did find out is that Seanr wasn't always grumpy... :D
 
I don't know how far back the archive goes here. But the stuff containing her is 99.99% on the old format pages. That post from Glenn gives the folks that weren't there the gist of the idea, but not its depth or breadth.

I only met her in person once.. I don't remember her being good looking even by sheep-loving, corn-fed MWC standards.

If I had known I would offend Ron that much by asking a question I would have thought twice.

There has been a summer event started. We are planning for it right now. Everyone should try and be like a MWC summer fest
 
Cherokee Crawl is in the summer and in a MWC state. Y'all are being some cry baby bia bia's. being a Red name on the forum and actually showing up to events and hanging out with other members aren't the same to me. The bills need to be paid to keep us a float but being around the camp fire and in the garage and in the trail with other active members makes it worth it. I'm sitting with two other members as I post this. Getting kicked out of Naxja isn't easy (I'm still here :D )
