Important

Mexican drywall guy on the restaurant job I'm working on was sanding all day. Almost looked like a mime, he had so much dust on him.

End of the day he splashed some water on his face, I had to say "wow, you're not white" :D

So I bought a flag pole and American flag today. Went out to take the flag down for the night since I don't have a proper light to display it at night. Then a stupid comment came out of my brothers mouth....."Yeah fly the flag of a country that spies on you". I about smacked him.... Yeah, they probably do spy on us but it's better than living anywhere else. Maybe I'm just making a big deal of it but shit, it's the American flag.

...
Value what the flag stands for.

"The rights of the people to be secured in their persons, their houses, their papers, and their other property from all unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated by warrants issued without probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, or not particularly describing the places to be searched, or the persons or things to be seized."

Value what the flag stands for.

Uh, that was sorta my point Ron. I'm not terribly proud of some of the stuff the gub'ment does but I'm still proud to live here.

It is a great place to live. Not as great as it was ten years ago, but still better than the majority of the rest of the world.

Someday I will choose to live off the grid, with my jeep and six hot women. That would be a good life.

You think living w 6 women would be fun?

Yeah, they would have to be mute, and agree to wear shock collars, and call me "master".

They can cycle together, no big deal. They're mute, not sewed shut.

Now THAT would be a good life.

Yes, you're making too much of it.

Don't value the flag, it's simply an object.
Value what the flag stands for.

It is much more than an just an object. It needs to be treated properly. I am not condoning flag worship, but I have a ton more respect for Aaron for taking the flag down at night because it is not illuminated. Almost nobody does that, or even knows why. My wife rolls her eyes constantly because I point out improperly displayed flags/flagpoles all the time.

I knocked my flag pole down the other day with the trailer...

mac 'the flag wasn't on it' gyvr

The flag is not an object, it is a symbol.

Kids today know more about batman's searchlight than they do the correct way to display and honor a symbol of our country. If everyone in this country would take pride in something like displaying the flag correctly, maybe we wouldn't be in the shit storm that we are now.

I'm pretty sure that all those veterans who have or will carry it into battle would disagree with the objectivity of an important symbol of our freedom. If you can't display it properly, don't display it at all.

Knowing guys in the military I had known there was a flag code. I'll get a light to properly display it at night well, because i'm lazy! :D It is an all weather flag so no worries about flying it in inclement weather. Honestly, until I googled it last night I didn't know but out of respect for the flag I figured i'd follow along.

Supposedly there is, but I don't recall what or how much it matters. I'm pretty sure either child9/Fringe XVO or digger87xj would know.

Electrically they are the same, hydraulically they are the same, so if they bolt on and plug in, they will work. I'm just not sure they will.

There are two of one size and one of the other. The tq lockup solenoid matches one of the shift solenoids.
