is the plug for the 99 fuel pump different from the 98? they seem to be a different part number on rock auto...was hoping to just swap tanks from the 99 to the 98, but it looks like that will not work
Its been early Christmas at my place over the last few weeks. Brown guy shows up every other day to drop off more goodies. So far I've got almost all my axle swap parts, HDoffroad full frame plate kit, new headlamp housings with upgraded wiring, Brown Dog motor mounts.
I'm going at this build with a pretty good plan. Last XJ had parts thrown at it all willy-nilly and didn't last very long.
How long can you wait? I have the tank out of a 99 sitting on my front porch, I've been meaning to put it in my 98 because the gas gauge sender is incredibly flaky, but haven't found the time. If you can wait till say Saturday/Sunday I might guinea pig it for you.
