Depends on where in Indy. Sullivan is 30 min from Terre Haute, so anywhere from 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours.

Would Lafayette or something like that be a better option?

I think it all depends on the situation. my one buddy and his bride just wanted to have a big party, so they combined it. it was a good party but in reality, no different than any other party.

i had no interest in going to a strip club. i have never been a fan of paying some girl to pretend to like me. and get me all worked up just to do nothing about it...no thanks, been 2 times, that's enough for me.

now my party was my buddies and i wheeling at the badlands then camping. girls were not there because they would not like our shenanigans. we all got plastered and went home hung over as fark. my wife went out with all the girls and danced the night away at the club. i would not have enjoyed that.

one last hoorah? i have partied the way i did at my party many times since then. both with and without her.

now if we are talking combining parties because the wife to be thinks he will cheat on her that night, then yes i agree that relationship has problems. but if the couple are just cool and have a combined group of cool friends ans both want to be together then ok.
 
I was too young to drink legally when i got hitched so the bachelor party was a joint thing iirc.

mac...if you don't buy them let me know. that is exactly the tire i've been looking for 33x10.5x15 is the size i want. i'll be rolling by you with a moving truck soon with an axle for you :)


ALSO...speaking of moving trucks i have officially confirmed my trip across the country to finish moving my stuff. I was going to be heading back the 30th, but now I'll be heading back June 8th instead. It was easier to schedule with work and easier to find cheap flights. That means I will be driving from iowa to new york with a 24' budget truck on the 9th and 10th...if anyone needs anything picked up and dropped off along I-80, let me know.

A lot of times a good degreaser and a scrub brush is all you need to clean an engine. Blasting is a nasty business and you can't control where all the media goes.

Yeah I dont think Id sanblast a complete engine. Give it a good scrubbing and then clean it with brakeclean or mineral spirts.
