I rather have a LJ but my ZJ is the most comfortable jeep I've ever been in. I think Cadillac made the seats. Plus you can't beat the V8.

Put ZJ seats in a TJ RUBI, solved as long as there is no back seat riders.

I had a TJ back in the day. Loved it, hated the payment. Sold it because our family grew. It sure was nice during the summer.
YJs ride terrible, wheel terribly and are generally junk, but I still like them for some reason.

Leather plus no top wouldn't be so nice. Plus you're still missing wheel base and a V8.

The LJ wheelbase turns me on. They're hard to find though. Not only are they a rarer bird, as far as TJs go, but they're also more expensive.
Did anyone else read the article in Jp about the guy who stretched his CJ out to the LJ length and used factory LJ parts to dress it up? Roll bar, top, door parts. Every thing lines up like factory. Pretty cool Jeep.

I had that gold and tan YJ a couple summers ago. It was nice to go cruising and the 4.0 5sp. I might still have it except it was a complete rust bucket...
The LJ is nice. We put almost 200 miles on it today, went to Lima, OH for the 4x4 Jambo for the day. Drives so nice, straight and 70 mph. Other Jeeps even wave at you...
Ps all driving today was doorless and topless...

.l. if you would have stayed in my field of view for a couple more seconds I would have caught your window blowing up on camera.

I emailed the guy, he wants a pic of the ZJ. Might play this out and see what happens. YJ pic shows what looks like underdash A/C, but I don't know how well those work.
The wife isn't thrilled about a trade. In all reality it would be dumb since it only seats 4 and there are 5 of us, plus the wife won't drive a 5 speed.

Wedding over the weekend and a lot of running around in the Jeep... Really getting excited about Bec's CJ, which I fould the engine code on the motor and the origional Jeep VIN plate!
