P0601 Dodge Internal Control Module Memory Check Sum Error

Sounds like ecu.
Sure sounds like ECU to me, from some reading online it seems that basically this means the ECU's microprocessor attempted communication with one of the serial EEPROMs in it 6 times and it failed every time. Might be possible to fix the ECU, but probably more economical and reliable to get one at a junkyard.

Finally put the Heep in the garage since WF. Noticed the krawler joint on pass side is broke and the bracket is pushed around the bolt and nut. Time for some bracing.

Jeff, did you get buired in snow?

Jeff got about 10 inches of snow in Cannon Falls, 3-4inches in Woodbury, and I got just a light dusting in Maplewood... Everything south of here is closed, no power, no communications.

I didn't get it too badly. 6" of heavy wet sludge, I spent almost an hour blowing it off the slab at 0500. If I was shoveling, I'd still be there. The Twin cities got relatively little, my office parking lot on the north side of St. Paul was dry.

Now..... the south is another story. Owatonna got 13". My g/f's commuter bus got stopped on the way out of town, Highway 52 to Rochester is closed, and the MSP trooper said 200 vehicles stuck.

<shrug> I never lost power.

Rock Auto has Timken unit bearings for $65 each! I ordered two! :D

Actually, the storm is going to be rather expensive. Even over the snow blower, I could hear limbs cracking & falling. Looks like I'm going to need to take down 2 trees and have some pretty serious arborist work. No, I'm really not interested in doing it myself, I've got way too many obligations, I don't even have enough time to do much more than take a deep breath.

i have a lab final tonight. pretty worried about it. have to construct a counter with a digital readout and he is not telling us which mod use. we will be drawing the wiring diagram ourselves, then building it. the wiring part i am good at, and will probably only take me a half hour to do. its the drawing part that im no good at. without notes it can get pretty hard remembering what wire goes where.

SAM'pray for me:shiver:'SET

Weird, we have several teachers down there that said no power...

Sucks about south of there, I was going to try and go to Austin MN today to pick up a 2.5L...
I'd think twice about heading to Austin today, even down 35E.

Using flip-flops and a encoder? Should be fairly easy to do... Synchronous or Asynchronous? how many displays? MSI or SSI?

Yeah, I'm not going, not after all the pics/reports I've seen...

yea using flip flops and encoders all the fun stuff.
like i said once i have a correct wiring diagram in front of me its cake. but hear is an example of what i will be drawing

he will be giving us those printed boxes and no notes, then we have to draw it.

I just got a quote for 10 grand worth of tree work/landscaping, with the potential for more.

unhappy I is.
