nice rig mac. any plans for upgrades?

Anyone know of good sources for full sets of Lugnuts besides the net? So far I tried 2 tire chains, 2 auto parts chains and nobody has more than 4 or 5. I need 32.

Jim i ordered 100 lugnuts(gorilla stainless ones even) through Amazon for $60. Do what i did and order those and sell the ones you don't need.

Ive heard that as well that many people with built jeeps say that they missed wheeling on a mild built jeep.

So mine will stay 3inches open open and 31s. Fix what breaks, DD it, Drive it to wheel, camp and drive it home.

I think Mac might be trying for ugliest rig next year at WF.

I've now hit every single autoparts chain and the local stores in my area. Not one can make a full set if they combine all of them in the whole district. I guess only the ricer crowd buys lugnuts anymore, they seem to have plenty of them. Amazon here I come.

I still really enjoy wheeling my jeep, but I really miss having doors, and heat, and a/c, and a roof, and nice seats, and I could go on.

I can't say I enjoyed wheeling more in my smaller jeeps, but its easier to find challenging trails with a small jeep.

Fore 'drive to Moab?' Wheeler

I'm looking forward to driving my little jeep way more often than a trail rig

i want to drive this to johnson valley next year..... i think it will be an exciting experience. The odds of it actually happening arent that great, seeing as i havent even heard it run yet....

driving a project in progress is a PITA, im glad i got a daily. ive saved so much money these past few months. not more losing battle trying to keep it pretty anymore.

as for my wheeler itself, one locker was enough to convince me that i needed 2.

By adding the XJ from NAXJA it became cool. :D

I actually like wranglers. But I'm a cheap ass wich brought me into the XJ world.

I think that's most of us... It's just way too easy to get into one. ~$2000 compared to ~$10,000. The choice is simple.
