Important

I've got some serious organization issues already. I don't need any more at the moment.

officially accepted the nyc job today. its extremely bittersweet. i will miss iowa every minute of every day, but the offer was good, we will now have health insurance and the opportunities for someone in my line of work are pretty much endless in that city. details are kind of coming together, though my number one priority is working on getting a place outside of the city as soon as possible. i have no problem being in the city when i have to work, but when i am not working, i need someplace to go. if i can get a little more money put away, we may put an offer in on the little parcel of land we have been looking at fairly soon. it would be an awesome summer project to build a shed/shop :)

im 99% certain that i will be heading down to the wf fire on saturday night to have a beverage with ya'll before we take off. no matter where i am, my heart will truly always be in the midwest. i'll never rule out the possibility that we will move back someday...but for now, its a good idea for me to be there. don't worry, its impossible to keep me from visiting...i plan on coming back to iowa 2-3 times a year for hunting and holidays. i also don't plan on expanding my reading on naxja beyond the mwc...heck, sometimes i forget there are other parts of this forum :)

Always nice when your BIL decides to be an asshole because you are broke and didn't make them a meal while they showed up unexpected for a week.

Rewster, I had no clue that those pins were shot, they were less than a year old :( Let me know what they run ya and I will make it right with ya. I hope eveything else went together good for ya. They were not on the road other then for very short distances at 15 mph b/c it was road crazy as all hell. I hate to see that there were problems.

2001 F150 with the 5.4L Triton

Attempting to remove Spark Plug #1 next hour to see if they are originals... Pulled COP, blew out debris, sprayed a ton of wd40 in... We'll see what happens....

UPDATE

I let the #1 soak in some wd40 for about 30min. With a 3/8 ratchet, I cannot get it to crack loose... Thinking original and I should just drive it till it stops running, or I trade it...
