Discovery + reality TV shows = fake.

There are a few exceptions. I really liked Flying Wild Alaska but that family had enough of Discovery's bs and ran from the cameras. I can't blame them.

Good thing they occasionally put a show on like Africa. Otherwise I'd give up any hope.

I loved Flying Wild Alaska and then I do like Swamp People (not on Discovery).

Robotics team tried using plastic tanks in their pneumatic system on the robot... I would have been 'okay' with it until I say how far they had threaded the fittings into the tanks... I took the tanks away.

Well, looks like another FestFest is in the works then?

quite possibly. This time the cabin would be liveable.....would like to have a new pond built out in front of the cabin, but unlikely that would be completed, let alone filled, before an event in the summer.

Show is fake, cops would be all over the people in that show if they actually did anything illegal. Though it has happened before. Jimmy Smith from Axe Men (now passed away) in the first season he was on, was charged with fraud after he was on the show making money and still getting disability payments from the government (reason why they moved from Oregon to Florida for logging).

They switched as Jimmy was charged with a pile of natural resource violations for taking logs out of protected rivers. Washington State does not allow that type of log recovery.

He was later charged with disability payment thefts.
