Important

The guy that plows our lot at work builds a big pile at one of the corners. I decided to park the Jeep on such said pile one day. Someone called the cops, he came in & asked if anyone knew who's Jeep was on the snow pile? I said it was mine. He asked why I would do that? I said cause I can & it's our property. He just shook his head & left. Then the boss asked me to move my Jeep. hahahahahah

I did that once. Snow melted a bit during the day and the Jeep sank a bit. Temp dropped in the evening and froze it in place. Had to get a tug off of the pile.

:banghead:

That's the biggest issue here , people w/ front wheel drive vehicles think they can go anywhere as fast as they want. But that doesn't mean they can stop when they want.

Same as people with four wheel drive.

yeah, I don't worry bout me, it's all the other idiots on the road. I drive like a grandma in the winter, well unless I'm just being stupid, witch may happen at any moment. Cause I can. lol.

Years ago...10+ Rosco had an 86 F350. We were out in the snow one night in it busting snow piles in a parking lot. He hit a snow pile that was big enough that the snow packed up in the front end into the steering and the truck wouldn't turn anymore.

We then froze our butts off digging the snow out to be able to drive it home.

mac 'to be in my mid-20s again' gyvr

whats snow? ;)

i see that shit one day a year, and everyone freaks out so bad i get a day off when it comes! 4wd is just so i can get to the liquor store....

awd is nice for snow though

It seems to me that messing around in an empty snow covered parking lot is how people learn what to do if their vehicle enters a skid. I've got no issue with this if the parking lot owner or Police don't.

I wish more people knew how to handle their vehicle in adverse weather.

I will wish that all my might when the Beltline turns into an ice sheet. But as they say, "you can wish in one hand and ...."

Yah, I 'm an idiot too :D

Alert the media about the world spinning backwards.......I agree with this.

I had the best terrain to learn how to drive on, snow covered ice. :D Driving on lakes and rivers for ice fishing gives me a chance to freshen up my winter driving skills.

a facebook friend of mine just posted a page long post about her being in a predicament. you see, there are a lot of classic movies she hasn't watched so for the next year she is making a pact with herself to watch a movie a day for the next year and be fully committed to watching the movie by ignoring the computer, phone and other distractions...

my response...how the hell does someone have time to watch a movie every day....i guess im in the wrong business. i realize that i can be lazy at times, but if i gave up 2 hours a day to watch a movie i would be sleeping 2 hours less a day. i wanted to comment on her post as people were spouting off movie suggestions for her to watch, but i guess its just not worth it.

well a normal persons life has around 4 or 5 hours between work and bed. then you got the fools that work on jeeps instead of watch movies, or the even bigger fools that work on jeeps and go to school after work. then the even bigger than that fools that do all that and decide to throw a baby in the pot to. :wow:

I'm calling bullshit on urine powered generator.

Where do you get the electricity for the electrolytic reaction?
How can you possible feed a generator enough hydrogen without it being compressed?
What forces the hydrogen through the system?

let's just toss that silly conservation of energy law out the window when we talk about it because it's green and in Africa.

I hate the media.
