Important

Let me know if you need to build another one next semester. :)

this is an excellent idea.....i have and have had so much crap i would have used to teach in a shop class. Did you ever read the builds by muddypaws on pirate? he used to sell his rigs every other year or so, foot the bill and use building the rig as a hands on teaching tool for his advanced shop students. From engine to suspension to paint and electronics he would guide his shop students through building his rig then when they finished he'd let them wheel it....pretty cool

This will be a year long build as the last time I did any engine work was 5 years ago on the 351 Windsor...

This will be on an engine stand in the front of the room for dis-assembly/assembly for all the classes to see (Autos and Small Engines). In the 2nd and 3rd trimesters I will possibly has some of the advanced students help to get it assembled, but we'll see...

I just got the new insurance on the DD/tow rig. I kind of want someone to hit the bed so they replace it... Too much to fix the rust...

Insurance on this new Honda of mine is gonna be around 17 bucks a month.

keeps me legal for less...

Hitting a fire hydrant every once in a while makes you feel better about car insurance...

mac 'it's finally moved out of the way' gyvr

I only hit it the first time, not the four other times its been hit in the last four years.

mac 'I asked the first time to have it moved' gyvr

Listen to this....

I found out yesterday that the guy I've been working with for the last year, or so got busted for kiddy porn on Tuesday! Literately we are a two man crew. I'm waiting for the phone call to get drug into this sick bull shit for a caricature witness or something.

A caricature witness? I like to see that on the stand....."Sir, do you recognize my client, Wile E. Coyote?"

During a hardware presentation a month ago, we got talking about security. The gent making the presentation mentioned that some time ago, he got a call from a company that he'd been trying to land a consulting contract with, and on very short notice. He arrived, was escorted to a conference room filled with vice presidents, and opened the folder he was given.

And immediately closed it. "Call the police."

"We can't do that."

"You don't understand. It's not an option. Due to my position and employment agreements, *I* have to report this as well, or be guilty of a related charge. You have 24 hours to call first."

The corporate officer was found guilty of child porn, and is still serving hard time.

Only if he talked to you about it would you be any factor in the case.

mac 'not a pornstar' gyvr

yep.

sent a foreign OSU student off with CPD one day.

broght in a PC

"won't view pictures"

I fixed it, then looked in a folder to make sure it showed *his* pictures.

yeah, called the cops about 10 minutes after that, right after I went and got my manager and asked if he'd like to call or me.

people are really really strange man. I've seen some shit on customer PC's that is way out there. Some what has been seen cannot be unseen stuff.

My wife worked at CVS in high school in the photo department (remember when people used film!) She told me of a more than a few rolls she developed that were pretty weird.

WTHI Signed off the air at 12:35am to begin the transition to the new building. I haven't seen a station sign off in probably 10 years. Was really neat to be part of the crew for the last newscast from the building.
