I wasn't 100% sure about kids but absolutely love the little dude that's bouncing in a laundry basket on the couch about to fall across the room from me lol

I was assuming that the ratio of geniuses to idiots was 1 to 10.

I say we just remove the warning labels from everything and let the problem solve itself.

You think warning labels stop stupid people from doing stupid shit?

All the labels do is keep the company from being liable when the stupid shit happens.

We need a more proactive approach to eliminating the shallow end of the gene pool, like sharks with lasers on their heads.

Stupid people keep the fire and police departments in business.
Stupid people tend to create little stupid people who become big stupid people who then create more little stupid people, who become big stupid people... it goes on and on because the cops and firemen keep stupid people from killing them selves and each other.
And then, the government rewards stupid people for having little stupid people by paying them to have little stupid people, who in return have little stupid people so they can get more guberment money.
If we were to let the evolution take it's course, we could get rid of half of the public service jobs and most all of the welfare recipients.

The only reason I have kids is because Grace wanted one. I'm really not sold on it either way. I will love my children (assuming we have more than one) and raise them the best I can, but in general I don't like kids.

I also have no problem with less dumb folks, but like Sean r said it would take away my job security to a degree. That said I'm smart enough, I'd go find other work if that happened. Unfortunately having as many out of work won't get a job folks reduces the tax base and may in fact take away my job security. We aren't laying off but the mayor would like to cut us from a 460 man force to 380 by attrition.

I oftentimes wish I was in charge of natural selection. We'd all be much happier, I assure you. Less murderers, rapists, drug dealers, tyrants and imbeciles.
 
Go back to work for the city on Nov 1st. That will be almost 4 weeks off.

Go back to part time next week after two weeks off...couple days a week. That one actually hurts more cause its an extra paycheck missed...but the time with the family getting settled is worth it.
