I got money on te high pres oil pump line o-rings. That's what my oil leak was, $20 and and hour. Look in the valley on top if there is oil that's most likely what it is.

if the oil pan needs to be pulled on the 7.3 it is a huge job. i believe the motor needs to be pulled. we just did one in the shop because another shop didn't want to deal with it.

True I know because i read it does on OBS's and i just wire wheeled mine down and POR15'ed it when i changed the oil.

Well, when I look at it, if the pan is completely wet, I'll probably pass, if its just on the back side, I'll spend some time to see if it is in fact running down the back from above...

they still have ones in my price range (the mid 90's to 00"s)

They still make boats, but their new ones are under 40' models and they are more like offshore cruisers or center console type boats.

My buddy just wont the NY-Bermuda challenge this year by setting a new world record, he was on throttles (Tyson Garvin). He has custom built boats for years and I am thinking about looking into having him find me a nice boat that is out of my local market area since he has a wide reach on vessels all over the world. Boats are like cars, all dependant on the condition. There are some older ones that are nicer and better kept then some new ones....I am keeping my options open, but I really like the lines and motor options of the mid to late 90's-early 2000's Scarabs.

i realize that...but even on the tollway, the gas stations on the west side of the state are $.50 cheaper. it just always seems odd to me that a state so narrow has such a huge fluctuation. i try to get off the expressway when i can to fuel up ( i have an ipass so its very easy now) but when im trying to run straight through, i'll take the speed/convenience over the cheaper fuel. more hours sleeping in my own bed make it worthwhile to me

after that company went under back in like 09 when people stopped buying million dollar boats he started his own company and mostly built these and was paid top dollar to race them in Dubai

i have a hull stashed behind the shop that will do 90mph with a sea doo 4tec in it


....told my boss id ride it if we built it, my best is between 75 and 78 on a 2004 rxp. Once you pass 70 on the water its a great feeling, its like good drugs, you just want to keep doing it over and over.
