my buddy tim had to have his wife sign a bunch of stuff because he as their stepfather was not allowed to take them.

3 different forms have to be filled out then Notarized. Good thing UPS store does notarizing. Hell, he has his license he can take them down there and have it done.

Sounds a bit anal to me. So if he had a license, a registered, insured 4x4 in his name, would he need all this paperwork to wheel?

Yes, a minor to be there has to have a parent sign off on them.

Got to see my new work place again tonight. We will be in the new building practicing and working out bugs next week supposedly. It actually made me excited to come to work in the near future, which is something that I haven't felt for a while.

Do any of you have the lifeproof case for the iPhone? If so do you like it? What case besides it do you recommend?

Can a minor have a vehicle registered in their name?

That's a good question. I think you have to have an adult on it...but I'm not sure, I'll try to look that up tonight at work...

mac 'that's works related...right?' gyvr

Have it.

Love it.

Great customer service, has a year warranty. I had to use it cause I broke the hatch off that covers where you plug your charger in, they sent a new one in less than two days and sent me a shipping label to send it back.

You have to use iphone cords to plug it in, aftermarket ones are too big.

Its water proof.

You saw it when i had to take it off to plug mine in coming back from the hospital in Flint.

Phone is brand new in the case.

Kind of pricey at $100 bucks but I've heard you can get them cheaper. The belt clip was $30, but it works very well.

mac 'someday when I get an Iphone 5 I will buy another lifeproof case' gyvr

I had my 1st car at 14 , in my name , I had a school permit & drove back & forth to school without an adult. That was back in the 80's, Not sure if Iowa still has that. I will tell you I abused the rules & laws every chance I got. I was spose to take THE most direct to & from, Hahahah whatever.

Oh yeah, I remember seeing yours! Thanks for all that info. I found them on amazon for cheaper, and wanted some good feedback before pulling the trigger. I just need a tough case because I'm rough on them.

RedHeep said he has one as well. Based on his recommendation and link a while back, I bought one when I bought my iPhone last weekend. That, plus the claim that they are dust proof, which given what we do was more important to me than being waterproof. I haven't had to put it to use yet but I look at it as more as an insurance policy. It fits well, appears to be constructed well, I think it's worth the money to not have to deal with a broken speaker and dusty screen like my BlackBerry had for the last 2 years.

Rated for drops on every edge and surface from 6.6' and waterproof to 6.6'... they are certainly designed to some fairly rigorous standards. Paid $80 for mine, not sure what Amazon has them for.

Good news. I assume you didn't get towed either. Also good news.

You finally ditched that thing, About time! In fact, I don't even care that you got an iPhone. Just glad you ditched the broke ass phone!

I was getting more at the point of not getting impounded.

You can buy an adapter that fits in the case for docks and other cables. I don't remember offhand what the name is. Rev tech or something. It's on my radio at work where I plug it in on my desk.

I'm usually pretty careful with mine, but I drop checked it in the garage last weekend. Bounced a couple times and picked it back up.

I have the handlebar mount on the Harley and it rides there back and forth from work. They just came out with a mount that fits go pro mounts so you can mount it to a roll cage or whatever you mount your go pro to.
