4.10s and 32s does work son!

3.55s and 235/75/15 = slightly slower rocket ship.

I have that second combo on my red XJ, it is nowhere near rocketship grade but I think that is because the engine I put in it was super tired already when I got it and the trans is on its last legs :sure:

edit: also aren't 5.13s available for the low pinion dana 30 as well as the JK 30? I've never looked into the JK stuff but I could swear they made them for the low pinion housing... which is slightly more of a terrible idea than putting gears that deep in a high pinion housing!

edit2: checked randys ring and pinion and they don't have 5.13s for an LPD30 but then again they also think the LPD30 went into 96-01 XJs...

My 33s with 4.10s is not a rocket ship... I still have get-up-and-go, but its a little closer to red-line now...

Should have listened the first time... Gotten 4.56s off the bat...

I can officially say I am returning to the work force, FINALLY!! I start second shift tomorrow. Going to take a little time getting used to working 3pm-1am, but I will be going to first shift before December so it won't be too bad.

I kinda miss 2nd shift, I actually liked it more the 1st. Having the choice to sleep in the morning or get up and do something productive was nice.

I have worked 2nd in the past and liked it, but my lifestyle has changed since than so 1st shift would be great. But I will take what I can get for now. Just glad I got a job I will like.

I worked 2nds for 10 years. When the kids were younger, it worked out great. When they started having school activities and ballgames, it sucked. I've been on days since the first of March and it's been really nice. More family time.





Gears.
I ran 4.10's and 30's for a while. Loved it, I miss that Jeep. Currently have 4.88's and 33's. Meah.....it's OK.

Nope, its a 3 speed. They didn't get overdrive until 04.

wheelers link says its a 30 or a 32....probably a 32rh....
