Have fun in San Antonio! That's where I'm from...

That makes me not want to go now! :D Actually I have family in the Houston Area i'd like to go see one day.

I was gonna ask how the crops where doing down there, but now I know. Isn't much better here.

from what i understand, they are worse as you go south. its going to be an interesting harvest and an interesting fall hunting season to say the least. there is a lot of corn that got in early in iowa that was doing great, but now its starting to curl up badly. most of the corn has ears, but the size of those ears im sure is pretty bad.

i was pretty surprised how good the corn was looking when i went down to my parents cabin in kankakee co. I know the river was dried up pretty good.

Farmers here are cutting up their corn for Silage, it is that far gone. Some are hoping for a late rain to save the beans.

I'm no farmer, but this tunnel of corn looks like we're doing okay up here.

Has rained most of the night. Much needed around here. Not enough to break the drought but enough to help.

Working 0330 to 1030 is an odd shift.

mac 'tired' gyvr

This rain we got will help, There were dead spots here and there in the fields by me, looks like most peoples grass did. This rain will help but most are saying its still not quite enough. I don't have crops or farm buy a few guys i work with do and a couple friends.

There is some corn that tall around here, then there is other corn that is really short. From what I heard, the height of the corn doesn't matter as much as the kernels on the corn. Since the lack of rain, some corn stalks have 1/2 an ear of corn over an ear full.

Installed the dropped pit-man arm tonight. Also ran home and picked up the Bilsteins over lunch-break. Installed those and have decided the shackles need to move back on position, now that the rear isn't bound up with the old shit-shocks.

which bilsteins? Racecar Jeep needs new shocks and I'm tempted by the bling bling of the 5150s.

I heard that we have gotten something like 25% of the normal rain this year

We're 6"+ behind the average.

Corn is growing tall owing to the heat, but not producing ears worth a shit.

Terre Haute is 12-15" behind now. The most rain we have gotten in a day is .09".

I think he said they were 5100s... I would say go with those instead of the 5150s or the 5160s, they're a lot cheaper. 5100s are internal reservoir, 5150s are piggyback and 5160s are remote.

The 5160s do look sweet though!

Are you trying to replicate Ken Block's driving style from his latest video?

where are you guys buying toggle switches that are weathertight?

radio shack has one that is weather tight, but i broke 1 of them in the boat. im pretty rough on my stuff though. cabelas or bass pro should have some in their boating section, or if there is a good marine supply store by you...that works too.
