it is so hot that there was not a single person at the beach today when we went to the lake for lunch....so the scenery was less then good while we ate lunch :(
 
Congrats brother man, I am working diligently to be debt free minus house n farm...I want all equipment etc to be paid off by the time I turn 40. Dave Ramsey has some far out thoughts to some measure, but he is a pro at basic debt reduction and using the snowballing effect. Kuddos again Dan :thumbup:
 
Found out more about my Grandpa's shotgun. It is apparently a Ward Hercules Shotgun.

I should also add the triggers and hammers still work, the barrel release to open it doesn't.

I tinted the windows in my Ranger by myself. I did an ok job on it I think. Had a few dirt nibs in it and didnt get it cut very well at the edges. Id probably do it agian if I had to. Wasnt that bad of a job.
 
Flatter glass is something to learn on that's for sure, before you get into compound curves of newer cars, vw beetles kinda suck, the last body camaro, firebird etc back windows believe it or not are very simple to do in one piece, very little.heat required if any

After 11 days, the state finally got me my new plates.
 
Installed the dropped pit-man arm tonight. Also ran home and picked up the Bilsteins over lunch-break. Installed those and have decided the shackles need to move back on position, now that the rear isn't bound up with the old shit-shocks.

Got the front-end alignment in the ball park... I think... Don't really know what specs it should be at, but it doesn't matter too much right now cause I'm sure all be the Drivers TRE are shot... (Replaced that and both adjustable sleeves when I installed steering) Will slowly replace the rest of it when time and $$$ are available.

Think I might just cruise around tomorrow... Its so nice to not hear the rear shocks beating themselves to death over ever bump, or hear the tires tear themselves apart going around corners... Might even pick the lady up and head to the beach...

We are heading to San Antonio this afternoon for a few day of seeing some friends...it is actually cooler down there then it is in north Missouri...crazy. Get a little wakeboarding in behind his new Tige and I will be a sore SOB for the 16 hour drive home next week. We are intentionally driving the car down b/c we both know that if I drove the truck down we would be hauling home something new...and it would not help our "get out of debt" plan we are working on.

I was gonna ask how the crops where doing down there, but now I know. Isn't much better here.
