Install the gas tank yesterday with a new fuel pump. Now my gas gauge reads backward has anybody had this problem before?
you have a RENIX sender and an OBD jeep, or vice versa. My MJ does the same exact thing.

They changed the resistance curves, one goes one way, the other goes the other way. Live with it or swap in a year-appropriate sender.

What year is yours?

take white out, put an E over your F and a F over your E.

:D

this is prolly true

IIRC tim has some kind of franken jeep 87 with a late engine..

You just have to transform each letter. Add the bottom horizontal line on the F and use a marker to cover up the bottom horizontal on the E. Don't worry about white out. That stuff is for people who don't want their shit to look factory. Or you can white out the whole cluster and it will be custom to the max.

I just say my gauge reads from Excellent! to Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawk! now.

Note, it also won't be anywhere near linear. Anything above a half-tank will read as empty, 1/2 tank reads as barely above empty, 1/4 tank is around the 1/2 tank mark, 1/8 tank reads around 3/4 to 7/8 tank, and when you hit Full, you better have some good walking shoes on.

That sounds like a good way to prank a friend... Sure, drive it, it is on F.

I didn't live with my wife b4 we got married, but we did talk about all that. We have been together 12 years and married 10, I not only love my wife but like her as well.

The major problem these days is divorce has become to accepted and its just a do what feels good society. People go into marriage thinking if it doesn't work out they will just end it, with that kind of thinking it is doomed from the begining.

^Truth. Eventually, I'll find a lady who I like as much as I love. Until then, I'll get the stuff I want so I don't have to get rid of it all! :D Like Kman said, I'm only doing that shit once, figure i'll try my best to get it right the first time.

Tomorrow I am cleaning out the garage and putting the Heep in. Feels good to not drive my wheeler everyday. Now just to pay the new truck off so I can spend money on wheeling. Lol

I'm thinking I need a tow rig. Saw a 95 2500 burban with 4wd and a big block for a good price. I'm thinking that or something like it so I don't have to tent camp when I wheel! :D Plus, with what I haul normally, I don't really need a truck. I have a utility trailer or three I can borrow if need be. Mileage would kinda suck but I can get a small car to DD eventually.

Crew cab is nice. I cant wait to wheel and truly see what I can get away with lol

Been married twice. 1st marriage I was in the military and thought this was the right thing to do. Ended in one year. :looser:

Second one lasted 5 years and ended really bad with her wanted by the state of WI and me caring for my Daughter since she was 16 months whom is now going to be 11. Mother has not seen her since and is a complete douche.

The one I'm with now is a live-in girlfriend/ Fiancee. Going on 8 years of which some were rocky money wise and housing wise. My Daughter loves her and we have been through alot. We maybe argue three times a year now and have similar goals. Life is great now and has been for awhile.

I will marry only once more but if this fails I'm done. Not proud of my past but was too stupid to learn the first time.

Dooo it. Suburban kool-aid :D

DD the Jeep and save the Burb for towing. Unfortunately my Burb gets better mileage than the ZJ.

I actually just looked in on your buried for sale thread. You gonna keep it yet?

Unless I get a offer I can't refuse. I look at it daily when I pull in the driveway, and just can't help but love the Purple Pile. It wheels really well for not being very built. Plan for now is to slowly make it long-trip worthy so I can get back to drive-wheel-drive like back in the day. Loved being able to do that.

I can't help but admire it every time I see it. I think you just need to stick it out with that. If it does sell, I hope it stays within the chapter. But I really hope you keep it.

Thanks. In all reality it is the best thing I could keep/build. Fits my family better than a XJ (gasp) and it's not costing me anything to sit there.
