I talk may self out of a dd/tow rig everyday. Dont want an extra payment.

how about pools/bowls?
I have about a thousand dollars into my generator project so far.
It won't be very portable either that's for sure.
surf...Lol yep, been riding for the last 26 years, always have a half pipe anywhere I live lol, u skate?
My generator head is 3600rpm (designed for gasser service, though I could gear it...) and is a single bearing unit designed to use the motor's main bearing as its second bearing, so I don't think that'd work very well for me, I'd have to put a lot more work into mounting, bearings, etc. I also already have the 4.0 and will barely ever use the generator - and when I do use it, it'll heat the house as well.you need to build yourself or find yourself a listeroid.
surf...
my skating has taken off lately because i am land locked. never been a fan of street skating (racked my nuts way too many times as a kid), but zooming around a pool or bowl gives me some of the feeling that surfing does. its not the same... but a good substitute. my first year at school i didnt have any furniture, so we built a mini in my apartment to skate all winter. we cut it down to 30" tall, im 74", and the ceiling was only 98". couple that with the fact that it had only a 42" radius in the tranny, only 3' of flat bottom, and was 4' wide, it was probably one of the scariest things ive skated. pretty good gnar factor. but when the snow thawed and we went back to a real ramp, it felt like you had DAYS to set up in the flat bottom.
im not very good at flip tricks in the tranny. but ive got no grab FS airs on call. been working on my grabs, would really like to get lien to tail. but being tall makes grabs akward for some reason. i can throw frontiside Ds and boneless (to tranny or D) when im feeling it. BS grinds all day. working on more FS stuff. i <3 FS slashes. makes me feel like im throwing fins out on a wave. really... im just good at going fast. lol. knowing how to generate speed (or manage it) was the key tool for getting absolutely barreled when it was big back home. which is the #2 greatest thing in the world, second only too coochie. (yes, im tooting my own horn) but im also more gifted than most at longboarding. flow, style, and speed are what i like to watch, and what i like to translate into my surfing/skating/snowboarding. in no particular order.

You should buy it
yeah, my genny head just isn't meant to fit that though. And I have maybe another 100-200 left to spend on parts for what I already have planned, and can use it and the jeeps to keep whichever I need more running...most are setup belt drive, listeroids like to run @ 600 RPM or so, so simple 6:1 reduction gets you there for a genset.
I like heating the house with the coolant. I'm on the hunt for a listeroid because they are all mechanical, and will run on anything approximating diesel.
I nearly scored one a few months back, but was a day late.
