Important

Just had one of the guys i work with come up to me and say "i found a jeep for you, its only 4,500 bucks. says the floors were replaced." hands me a IL auto&RV points it out, can you guess what i saw?

did it need a new caneuter valve?

Just got to walk through the new building for work. Can't wait for August. This building knows it is on death watch. In the past few weeks we have had a piece of equipment fail, engineers revived it. It failed again, engineers revived it. It failed again, it was DOA. They replaced an 120k piece of equipment with a 900 dollar software program to get us through. Yesterday, just as we were starting the five pm newscast, we had a power failure that took out our cameras and functionality of our video switcher. The engineers fixed it for the 6pm newscast. The piece of equipment that was doa should have been replaced about 10 years ago, so it wasn't mostly the building giving us the middle finger. Just hope the audio board that I use (that is older then me) doesn't crap out.

i get the feeling im never going to look at a differential the same after this summer... cant beat the pay or hours though. on course to make over 50k of these over the summer.

anyone know what it is and what it might be worth? i might try to buy it... would be a cool toy for around my fathers property.

I will shed a tear when that building goes, there is allot of history there. Take a walk though the basement if you doubt me.

Rev

Been in the basement a lot. I can't get to most of it anymore. The old coal burner is cool.

make sure the tailgate say Willys, NOT Ford, alot of companies supplied Jeeps for the Army. It should also have a tag on the dash say's who & where is was made.

I should also add we didn't have a choice in the matter. Emmis sold the building to Thompson Thrift. They will be using it as a parking lot for the new office building and I bet the federal court house will also use it.

Here is some pictures I have in photobucket account.

Says 1940 something.

Those were all I have from the basement.

I had the opportunity to sample some of those CD biscuits almost 30 years ago. That cardboard box would taste better.

My office hasn't been moved there yet. I would actually have to have an office for that to happen though. My stapler is in the cabinet behind me also.

That is an Army jeep Walt. Worth more than your jeep I'd guess.
i deduced that much, watson. willys? JP? i opened the hood... it didnt look that bad.

and i deduced the second part as well.
