I tried to get a picture of this billboard last time I was on I-74 but failed, Molly got a picture of it today... it says "Missing teeth are cute... on little kids."

Not if you want something that will fire the first time and every time after for the next 100 years. My Ruger or XD will do their job for the time being but one day I will have a Kimber and I will carry it.

bullshit.

all guns are mechanical, and will last as long as you take care of them.

likewise a $1200 1911 can break just like a $400 one.

don't get sucked into the "it cost more so it's better argument"

If you look around you'll see that Kimber has plenty of QC issues, ust like everyone else.

Personally, I'd rather have 4 $300 guns than one $100 one. at least that way I'll have parts WHEN one malfunctions.

I have put my Ruger through its paces. I keep looking at others, but always come back to the simple, solid, reliable, Ruger.

I can still get the job done with a potato cannon full of gravel, broken glass, and nails if I have to.

I also have a 10/22 that i will be bringing with me to Tyler's you'll have to shoot it, its not a stock one either! :D Ruger's are awesome.

So I was cutting grass at the new house today. Mowing along and I look down and see a ring. Pick it up 14k Gold band just hanging out in the yard. Ill be calling the PO shortly to see if its hers.
Its just strange that Ive cut it like 4 or 5 times this year and never saw it. It was in plain view in a sand patch.

I try to dabble in many firearms manufacturers. Smith & Wesson, Mossberg, Ruger, Remington, Connecticut Valley Arms...Happy with each of them.

But Hornady is my favorite ammo manufacturer.

Ive got a Ruger Mark II .22 stainless thats pretty sweet and a Ruger 44 Super blackhawk. I enjoy them both

My 10/22 has a bull barrel, hogue stock, new extractor, mag release and automatic bolt release. Fun little gun and really accurate for a .22!
