your neighbors would like it if you installed a privacy fence.

All two of them.....

He'll be installing a pole barn instead!

Are you speaking from experience? :)

We're on 2 acre lots here but the "parking lot" is still visible to at least one neighbor. I talked to him about it a couple times and he doesn't seem too concerned, though it does bother me. The ultimate goal is to build a shop to store everything in or behind, but that could be a few years... before then I would like to get a cheap fence put up.

I gave up being worried about what the neighbors thought years ago...

it's reached the point where the number and constant changing of vehicles in my yard has resulted in me not being sure how many I actually have... right now the 58 M54A2, 88 MJ, 91 MJ, 98 XJ, 94 dodge parts truck, 01 dodge van, and a friend's 99 parts XJ. And if the damn seller ever gets back to me, adding a 77 J20 and a random J10 to the list, though the J10 will go away pretty quick.

edit: I guess that's 6 of mine, 7 total, plus the trailer, with the number likely reaching 9 shortly

New Winterfest award?

Thinking of getting a Land between the lakes run together around september, you're more than welcome to come.

Thanks for keeping us local guys in the loop, Flexd! LBL isn't that far for many of the Nashville guys.

I couldn't give two craps about what the neighbors think...

Just the village code nazi...

Of course it now helps that the village president has an 'illegally' parked vehicle in his driveway...

5 vehicles and a trailer all in the front of the house.

Did my good deed for the week. I was on the shitter and heard this strange noise, no it was not me. :D Well come to find out there was a Robin stuck in the downspout of the gutter on the house. Upon taking off the bottom the bird came out, looked at me for a few seconds and flew off.

Most people think I'm nuts...you guys are making me feel good. All I have outside is a bus, truck and car trailer.

My neighbors on one side are total WT and nobody lives in the house on the other side, though the people that own it tried to tell me they live there. Nope...not sure what is going on over there...:eyes:

Brad - I see no issues with what you have going. You've got your wheeler, your sunny day cruiser, your whogivesashit beater...:dunno:

Went pistol shopping today. Got my hands on a few that I haven't held or shot before. I really disliked the grip of the Glock, I really liked the grip of the .40XDM and the M&P .40. The Ruger didn't feel to bad either. There is a gun show in KC here in the next few weeks so I'll be able to get my hands around a bigger selection then.

I just went to Bass Pro by my house to look around. I'm having him get 500-800 dollar guns out of the case. The whole time he's trying to sell me on the new CCW Kimber .45 for around 1200 bucks. I love salesman...

Do you have a range where you can shoot them? Sometimes holding them and shooting them are two very different things.

They might have a primary residence restriction on their mortgage.. don't want the bankers to find out they aren't living there.

When is enough ENOUGH?! The past 5 days I've spent serious cash at the vet for my Fiancee's 4 year old Beagle. The money does not bother me. They think she has a steroid relieved meningitis. Don't get me wrong I have a huge soft spot for dog's especially Beagles but every time she moves from standing to a laying down or sitting position she screams in pain and pisses at the same time. She will not raise her head, drools, had a high fever, and will not go outside. She screams when you touch her. She has been at the vet for 2 days and nights. They think they have her improving on a steroid that they will reduce through time. She is home and moving a bit more and has no fever. I get the feeling she is suffering and if this continues it may be time to put her down as this is no life for a dog. The vet disagrees with me.

The Vet will always disagree with you. They don't like putting animals down anymore than you like taking them in to have it done.

The dog before last I had put down was 13yr, but he was real sick. It went in 2-3 day cycles. Every time I took him to the vet he was awesome, then after a day or so, he would have trouble getting up, would throw up, and mess the floor. After nursing him back to health, the cycle would start again.

So I took him in one more time. He was spry as a chicken again. Sucked. The Vet had a real issue, and made it tougher on me, and that sucked too.

So, frankly, that turned me off to the guy, and I have never come back. It's hard enough to make a tough decision without making the pressure unmanageable.

Last dog I had put down I went to a different Vet. There was no argument, and no pressure, just what needed to be done at the time.

Good Luck with whatever decision you come to. It's a personal one, and only you can make it.

$1200 IS WAY TOO MUCH FOR A HANDGUN/ I think you will find much better prices at a gun show. I have 3 differant dailly carry guns, that I take turns with. The most I have in any single one might be $650. On a side note, I have spent ALOT OF $ in holsters, I'm like a woman with 50 pairs of shoes. But you gotta keep trying till you find one that you can wear 10 hours a day and not know it's there.
