The UK version is far superior to the US one. I won't even watch the US one, 90% of the 'challenges' they do are exact copies of the UK show.

Look it up on Netflix, you won't be disappointed.
 
I've watched the BBC Top Gear for years, just recently started watching a few of the US ones. The US one is definitely more of a joke and designed to be more entertaining for the audience. They do some pretty funny stuff on the BBC version as well, but it just seems a little more thought out and well done.

In almost every episode of the US one, I find myself going "that doesn't make sense" at least once, or I get annoyed when they do challenges and seem to just arbitrarily assign points to each person. Again I know it's designed to be entertaining, but for instance when they did the Ford/Chevy/Dodge 1-ton comparison, it basically told you nothing useful by the end of it. They make some good jokes and rip on hybrids though, so I'll probably keep watching it.
 
It helps that the British presenters have a long standing chemistry between them that runs back to the 90's at least.
 
I have not drove the PSD for days and forgot to plug it in......went out this morning in sub freezing temps...fired right up. Those GP' new batteries and relay replacement were worth every penny!
 
Ill have to check the brit version out tonight.

Going to menards tonight to buy a new garage door and $250 worth of trim to redo the whole living room/hallway. and some other odds and ends.

I have a guy coming tonight to buy those 44s...the ground hawgs and the ag tires...well he says he is coming...

I have another guy coming tomorrow if he doesn't buy them...

But I have to pull them out of the shed...through the mud...but he's not picking them up til friday...but has most of the $$ today and wants to beat the thursday guy...
