Trans mount and balanced tires didn't fix my Drive-line vibes above 65pmh... Only think left is Stretched NP231 chain, DS out of balance, or 8.8 flange out of sync...

I hate selling things on Craigslist.

Watcha sellin?

I love cl, sold the Bounder. :D

The way he's been going this month, he's probably selling the trailer he just bought.

Anyone remember when I bought the mud truck to get my axles for the full widths? I've had these tires for seven years that were on that truck. I've tried many times on cl to sell them. Tax season must be the right time cause people are tripping over them to buy...

I'm trying to be fair, and not be a jerk...just want them sold.

I think I have finally made it more then 30 minutes without an eruption of some sort...I feel like I have been beat down by the Ft Wayne PD :D I am so hungry but afraid to eat anything b/c it will blast right back out......

I've had tail lights and head lights for an olds intrigue listed for over a year, just the other day a guy calls and buys the headlights cuz he hit a deer that morning. It pays to refresh your old ads.

CO can cause all kinds of issues. It also will not leave your body right away, so over say several days it will accumulate.

Check it out dude.

I would say that is right on track Rev, I was out in the shop for @ 12 hours on Sunday and then a few hours last night.....it has really whipped me.

I am looking into a new central heat and air unit for out there verses the current "ventless" propane hoghouse heater that I am currently running.

I've got one of those GloWarm ventless natural gas heaters in my 2-car garage... I have to admit I don't really understand how something like that can be ventless, it's burning fuel and oxygen and so it's taking oxygen out of the room. I try not to run it for very long, just on and off to get the chill out, but now I'm thinking I should get a CO detector as well just to be on the safe side.

Thinking I'll get a wood burner for the shop when I get to that point.

GROUND HAWGS!!!!

I need to send this to a friend of mine, immediately. The only tires he likes selling on CL more than ground hawgs are gumbo monster mudders.

watching the Big Lebowski now...and will not accomplish much more then that today....

I've been trying to sell these tires since I bought them. I've stored them under a tarp beside my old garage, now in a shed at the current house. I pulled that truck home with my F150...I had that truck in 04-05...

Its been a long time since I've had them on CL. I just posted an ad about 2 weeks ago, and this week everyone must have got their tax return...

Yea...not something to mess with.

Just something to think about....have the new HVAC unit intake raised off he floor about a foot or 2, gasoline fumes sink, don't want to suck those into a furnace.

I think that is where a lot of the problems were coming from Rev, the heater pulls air from below and it only sits about 4-6" off the ground....mix in the putrid smell of lots of old diff fluid floating around in the air and i am sure that did not help anything at all. I bought a central heat/AC unit from a friend over a year ago and have never picked it up..so this is enough to kick me in gear to go get it.

F250s and SRW F350s... apples to apples, same truck except for the bigger lift block in the rear correct? Looking at 6.0s and they were all D60 front by then I believe.

Been on the hunt for a newer crew cab long bed SRW truck, and found one I liked until I realized it's a F250. GVW is 10k on the F250 and 11.5k on the SRW F350. Should I play by the rules and get the 1-ton so I *know* I'll legally be under capacity, or just get the 3/4 and call it a day? Looking to haul a relatively light 1500# (dry) camper and my single place for now, and maybe a 24' goose later on in life. If I thought I was going to haul anything huge in the future I'd be looking at MDTs but I really want something more general purpose at this point.

10k GVW could be enough but I would have no way to know unless I got one and loaded up with the camper, water, camping stuff, fuel and the trailer and went to weigh it.

If your concerned put air bags under it.

The fronts were D50 or D60...

The rear I think just has different springs.

I hauled a lot with my 06 megacab with srw and air bags...

mac 'I'm sure you can still put 3 or 4k in the bed' gyvr

I should have mentioned that, it'd definitely get a set of Ride-Rites. Better to have the capacity and not need it than need it and not have it. Air bags would address the spring differences and I'm fine on axle ratings. Tire ratings change a little since the 250s have 17" wheels and SRW 350s have 18" wheels. Who knows, maybe I'd get a set of 19.5s in a few years if I feel like it.

250s are 2600# payload and SRW 350s are 4000#. Where they get these numbers I'm not really sure. I'm sure it will be safe, just was pondering the legal aspect if I end up over 10k GVW. Probably the bigger concern for an officer or an insurance company is whether it was massively overloaded and that things were tied down and secured well.

Also I'm not sure when or why I fell in love with Ford's trucks, but apparently I did.

the best thing I can say about them is that they make good axle donors for jeeps. And they didn't take any bailout money.
