Important

I order my tires today. Couple hours later I get call back telling me they can't find my tires. Long story short. They gave me a deal on good year kelvar mt $714 total. Got love mess up.

I also get to start a new job on Monday, it's not glamorous but it'll get the job done. Finally a "big boy" job after college.

the past 2 nights I have become violently sick after eating dinner.......not sure if it has something to do with what I ate or if it relates to me spending a lot of time in the shop afterwards. I need to get a carbon monoxide detector out there b/c I seem to be getting a different efficiency out of the furnace and I am a bit concerned. Last night I was up in the rafters working on the new loft and I could tell I was not feeling as well as I should have been......I know this is nothing to be messing around with. I have been puking or shitting nonstop for the past 6 hours......

Take care Tyler, I'm not in the mood to drive that far for a funeral. Be safe.

Definitely get a CO2 alarm. I speak from experience on that. Never had the runs from it but vomiting, ringing in the ears, headaches, dizziness and body aches are what I had. Take care Cheezman.

Last night on my way home from work the roads were snow covered and some what slick. Drove in 2wd for a little bit, but at some point I wanted my drive home to not take twice as long. Pulled the 4wd lever and was able to drive just a little under the speed limit or the speed limit. I was always anticipating potential pull outs or stop lights, but never had one. Did pass two cars that I just had to laugh at. First one was a Mustang, it was doing about 25 mph and seemed to be spinning tires at that speed. Next was a FWD Daewoo or some other station wagon doing 25mph on the highway. In 2wd, I was able to do at least 35 and in 4hi, around 45-50.

Did I have to drive in 4hi, probably not, but this winter, who knows if it will actually snow decently enough to potentially need it.

Yep, I now, that is why I was always looking out for potential issues like stop lights. I had tested braking on side streets earlier before I got out of the city and I still could stop decently. I also was put into 3rd to kick out over drive and let the engine slow down some before having to use the brakes.

No yet, I got to make sure the nut strips match up on holes on the XJ (since JCR's picture on the webpage looks the same I think they will). Then I am going down to my friends metal business and having the hitch modified to work (widening one hole, making another). I forgot about a friend with the metal company five minutes from my house.

widening one hole - buy a ten dollar rat tail file at home depot
making another - you don't own a drill?

I drove my tetanus MJ back to NYC, it made it no problem as usual. Looks like a turd, handles like a turd, it is a turd... but it has never ever left me on the side of the road.

Widening would cost me ten dollars with a file. With the friend, it is free. As for the drill, I have a drill, but don't know if i have a bit that is big or good for thick metal. Again, my friend makes air craft parts and I know he has the stuff already to get it done.
