ahhh...craaaaap....

just found out that nearly a million snow geese showed up in one of the places we hunt as of today. dangit...its about 3 weeks too early and i am NOT ready. looks like i might be heading to missouri next wednesday

cant you just hunt snow geese and no limit on them since they are a pest? I thought I had heard that somewhere before...maybe you have to have a stamp or there is a season but I am not sure...

if you hunt in missouri you need a conservation order license, there are no limits in missouri and you can used an unplugged shot gun with non toxic shot. but you have to time the migration right and they are very hard birds to hunt. i think the conservation season in missou is feb 1 to march 31st...i think

probably nothing around your neck of the woods though...are there?

okay as a noob...lets just say i wanted to get a welder. i would use this for duck blinds, building some silly electronic devices and maybe eventually welding axles and other car/jeep/truck related parts.

i was told to get a hobart 140...thoughts?

Me too. Should be a really fun rig...I'd like to build one also.

Finished product at the Crawl??

shooting for next years crawl.... i should have the chassis done in a month or two, then ill start setting the drivetrain in. i have a 2001 4.0 that needs a head and that should give it enough go to make me happy

I asked the same q a while back, I was told 180 or don't bother, so i bought a 180

If the motor is an I-6, a 4bbl will be too big. The TBI kits are junk and not worth the time or money to put is on and take it back off again. Then you have to store it, you don't want to throw it out because you paid a lot of money for it, and no one will buy it used....

It's a tree-sixty... I can't imagine trying to move 5900 lbs. with anything smaller as slow as this thing is.

Junkyard TBI upgrade - 350 Chevy components. Cheap and easy to find parts anywhere. Should be a writeup on IFSJA somewhere. I was planning that for my Waggy but sold it before I could. It was going to get a AW4 also :D

Putting any more GM parts than it already has isn't a recipe for anything but spending more time fixing it.

So my buddy, who also owns the house i live in, bought a 96 XJ last week and his fiance bought another one today. Hopefully once we get some air under his, or get his ZJ going again he can come wheel again.
