I wear my seatbelt religiously. When I got my liscense I wore one all the time and then I started slacking on it until I quit wearing one all together.
Like 6 years ago I was traveling down a gravel road at an unsafe speed. Not recklass (sp) but fast. Hit a washboard in the road and spun sideways. Flipped endo and barell rolled once I was thrown from the Ranger my sister was also in the truck without a seatbelt. She remained in the truck and got a large cut on her head and smashed her hand. She went through many surgeries to get it working halfway normal. I still feel like a pos for that. I still miss that truck.

Anyone recommend a decent looking reasonably priced car cover that will fit a chopped hybrid caged XJ. I want to move the jeep out of the garage but don't want to deal with HOA bs (even though my jeep is licensed and insured) or let the XJ sit uncovered in the rain all year.

Jim, that car is bad ass. I have been teetering on a "spoil myself" purchase, but I just cant justify a sports car b/c it would not make it down half the roads in my county :D I am leaning towards a Kenworth or Freightliner multipurpose farm truck (toter) and a camper for the family.....and I am ready to pull the trigger on ordering a new side by side. Of course it is all for work/farm use, not for fun at all :D

You're also welcome to use the box truck as a mechanics pit. You can sit under the Jeep if you put the front end in the box.
 
Thanks Guys, I hope I'm not going through a midlife crisis quite yet, if it is I should have went with something more exotic than a vette. On the tarp reco's to cover the jeep; unfortunately that's not an option. I need to have something that looks a little nicer. One of my neighbors already got hassled by the HOA for having his street legal non caged 4 runner on 38's sitting in his driveway under a car cover. Eventually he gave up and moved it into the garage. I won't give in that easy, but I also need to make sure that I do what I can to make it look nice. I trying to be as amicable as possible and don't want to end up in a dispute that would envolve a lawyers and such ince my jeep is "modified a little" :)

Anyone ever talked to a boat cover maker about making a custom car cover?
 
Okay, so I brought the hitch inside and got my nut strips out. Should all four bolts line up to holes (I am kicking myself for not taking them down with me)

Just buzz cut your hair. I only have to get a hair cut every three months because I am losing hair up top. I only get it cut because sides and back get to the point I need to comb it, then I know I need to cut it.
