Important

Started snowing here just over an hour ago. Just finishing up with a few things on the wifes jeep and it is ready. Greased up everything possible, changed the oil, new RE upper control arms installed, new rear brakes and one new wheel cylinder, and got all her survival stuff packed up in the back for the winter months.
All three jeeps are ready to go for the snow. Now to wait for a few inches to fall so I can go and play. :D

Light drizzle & snow started here yesterday afternoon as the temp dropped through the freezing point. It was 34 degrees when I went to work yesterday morning, at 7:00 PM, it was 24 degrees, an hour later, it was down to 19. This morning, it was 11 degrees, with light snow. Very little snow predicted, I doubt that I'll see an inch. I suspect that the farmers around here are unhappy, there's no ground cover, so major freeze damage to the wheat crop is a possibility, as well as no water for the spring either.

Anybody downwind from the Great Lakes will probably see a bunch. I see the prediction for where I grew up is for 4-6" by tomorrow afternoon, rather less than I suspected. And, given how warm it's been this winter, I wouldn't be surprised if Lake Michigan & Lake Huron don't completely freeze over.

well its official...fellow mwc member is on the way to pick up the d44...tomorrow i am pulling an 8.8! lsd, 4.10 and disc brakes here i come. yeah its more fab, but im looking forward to it. hopefully will be making a trip to cheeseman fab and nacho bar!

Starting to snow here, not much on the ground yet. Said we could get up to 3". Hoping for 6"

ruffstuff is where it's at. Dan is good peeps and the parts are beefy and priced right.

87 'whole rear suspension is ruffstuff' manche

the weather report just said that we're going to get 2 weeks worth of winter in the next 2 days.

I did enjoy the 50+ temperatures in january, back to reality
Thank god! Don't get me wrong I like the warmer temps, but this warm weather is killing our coal business. The power plant took their weekly coal trains form ten to three, and the RR laid seven conductors off. I hope they get to come back to work soon, because they hadn't been there long enough to collect unemployment yet.

I need to buy new coveralls. Not just for WF, but for snow also. Thinking about possibly buying bibs instead of coveralls though.
