been sick all day, in a generally bad mood and fired our accountant. I hate being ignored when it comes to my business or money.

I think most of us are 'that guy' in our neighborhood.

As soon as I finish demolishing the house I will be 'that guy' but people won't joke about banjos anymore.
 
So the axle nut came off just fine. 4' long 1/2 drive breaker bar with about 300lbs of brother in law jumping on it, it came off just fine. Now the ujoint c clips are rusted joint so I can't pop them off. The shaft is going to the work so I can use the press tomorrow. Actually so I can have one of the techs do it for me. I can't have dirty hands and deal with customers right...

When they're too rusted to get apart I use a die grinder or (carefully) angle grinder to cut the trunnions off the ujoint body, then use an air chisel or air hammer to knock each cap inward instead of taking the clips off at all.
 
still sick and cant breath or sleep...and not a lot of activity around this place at 3:50 in the morning.

typical early AM NAXJA server problems.......tried to subit it and it did nothing so I logged out.....and wha-la!
 
for some reason my blocks power went out last night.
clicked off at about 8pm for around a minute or so then snapped back on then around 10pm went off again and didn't come on until sometime in the middle of the night.
this causes me to have a restless sleep worrying if i set my alarm clock correctly, and causes me to be to tired for my 5am workout.
damn them.

Noticed that the forum doesn't respond around 5am. I am not up that early hardly at all unless I have to work mornings at work.

Months ago I let my mom have my alarm clock (cheap 10 dollar one). I been using my cell phone when I need an alarm clock. Never needs power unless my battery is low.
 
I use an alarm and 2 different alarms on my phone :D

i tend to hit the off button instead of snooze
