Maybe the wrong tooth, but who looks that closely anyway?

I have a line on some 35's GY MTR's 2 of them are 75% and the old style. The other 2 are the new style MTR and "nearly new". There is also a spare old style MTR. I've talked them down to 500 for the set. I have to drive 3 1/2 hours to pick them up. I'm hoping to get better pics of them tonight but it may not be till tomorrow. I think they are worth it as there is nothing worth looking at in my area. So would you guys run the old style GY MTR's on the front/back of a rig with a new pair of MTR's on the front/rear of the rear?

Parakeet

Goodyears? I would run the older ones in the back, then drive to the tire store and replace all of them with real tires.

I just put Goodyears on my jeep to replace the KM2's I just took off. Best move I ever made. I bet these Goodyears will never try to kill me on the ice the way those did.

Well how do you know it's the best move until you drive over that same ice with your Goodyears??

Opened my tcase today (first time since wf) first thing I find

Then I noticed the front out put gears have a couple teeth missing

Then I saw the intermediate gears

Not too bad considering I was still able to drive to the campground under its own power in rear wheel drive only......

Nothing wrong with my atlas...

mac 'didn't even get that 300 to the hard stuff' gyvr

Ah c'mon...isn't that why you always travel with an Escort during the week?

Trying to selll our other house and sinking waaaay too much money into it to wheel. Besides you took an entire year off, I am just missing one trip.....Oh yea I forgot my junk is not legal to wheel redbird

Looks like the 300 just had too many hard launches on it, Had the badlands had an ATLAS in stock it would have been in my jeep by the end of the day that I broke.

His Escort is nice. Easy on the eyes and he can put his junk in the trunk.... Plus she's probably pretty cheap.

Big"liking for station wagons"Hank

The Escort station wagon I had was probably one of the best vehicles ever. Lots of room for shit in the back, good mileage, never broke.

The rust killed mine :(
Whole front subframe was soft.

I must have the shittiest luck here lately..I bought a V-6 Nissan extended cab 4x4 to use as another cheap little chore truck...now it has a blown motor. So I am off tomorrow morning for a nice 7 hour round trip to pick up a pathfinder that has a good motor to swap...this shit is getting old. But for $500 the pathfinder runs great and has full functioning 4x4, so it will be good for a few other parts.

I have yet to leave the house today.
I haven't taken a shower since Wednesday.
I don't care....
I bet I have some good smelling "fromunda"!
Who wants to come over and see, smell?

When I was on said ice, I was with another guy running KM2's and a bunch running other various tires including Goodyears. The only two who had problems was me and the other guy running the same tires.

The problem with them is that they have no lateral traction. You get them sideways and they turn into ice skates. You add that to a shelf road with ice and a serious off camber and they will try and kill you.
