is there a chance that an ewok is a distant cousin to Chewbacca?....I like potatos.

I haven't talked to Adam since before I left Chicago. It's too bad, he's a good guy.

I managed to take out my lower back yesterday. I'm gonna be moving slowly for a few days.

Jeff, you cant be throwing out those freestyle moves bro..we are gettin to old for that stuff! :D

Heh...... never did that crap, even when I was younger. Managed to tweak my back just by sliding a box of cat litter across the carpet in my g/f's car's trunk yesterday. Took me 20 minutes just to stand up without leaning on something this morning.

hate it when that happens... used to be a weekly occurrence before I got a memory foam mattress topper, and I was only like 17 at the time.

Everything pops and cracks now, hell I stand up in the morning and my hips, knees, ankles, and back all crack. I need some marvel mystery oil.

update changed the glow plug relay on the power joke the other night and it started right up Sunday morning it was 0 deg. without the wind . O ya and I am stubborn and won't plug it in !!!1

wind chill actually does have an effect on non-animate/non-hydrated things... say, the radiator in a car.

Not as much of an effect but it is still there. Improves convection cooling (or heating) greatly.

No, wind chill does not.

You can blow air across a radiator, but it will only get as cool as the ambient temp.

Yes, moving air will remove heat faster, but will not cool.

Naa, Chewy is way uglier than an Ewok.
BWAHAHAHA!
Us old timers got a real kick out of that!
What ever happened to Chewy?
Jeff....

Who you calling old timers? I just spoke with chewy over the holidays...

I started the 08 f450 the the other day after it had sat in single digit temps for a couple weeks...I would've plugged it in...but it doesn't have a block heater...ran fine...

No, it is called convection.
Windchill is only the cold your skin feels in the wind.

I stand corrected :dunce:

You guys arguing over wind chill are saying the same thing. Just get your terminology right.

Wind Chill is "the apparent temperature felt on exposed skin due to wind."

Convection is "the transfer of heat through a fluid (liquid or gas) caused by molecular motion"

Wind chill is caused by convection. But objects without skin don't experience wind chill by definition.

I always thought wind chill was when some Ice Queen at the bar walked by and said "pssshhhh" when you tried to make a move on her......

which leads me to the next thing of "accidentally" spilling my drink on then as I am leaving.....:D

the alternative is to do a brutal crop dusting on them..all depends on the mood :D

Crop dusting is the best, i recently did it to a couple in a restaurant that was acting all lovey dovey siting on the same side of the booth and holding hands kissing, i figured its what they get for there PDA
