Important

it should work well. It puts money back into the chapter and also gives an incentive for members to stay in active "red" status etc. There is talk of the raffle items being CB's and trail recovery items so that if a new member wins it may help them with stuff to get on the trail and meet our requirements etc. Sure, there will be some winners that will win something they already have, but in the past I have yet to see people not put those items back up for sale in the F/S thread..and hopefully a member "discount" if they are peddling something they got for free :D there is talk of a "big" raffle prize in the last quarter of the year..something that would make most very happy....and get your minds out of the gutter :D:D

drove the wife's WJ in today. if you leave the turn signal on like a jack ass it tells you

I was origionally going to go that route, but with my asthma, I can only weld so long before the fumes/smoke get to me... It wouldn't be a problem if there was good ventilation, but you're not always going to get good ventilation...

Pay isn't all that great if you're just gonna be a welder. If you specialize it helps. And underwater welders bring the dough home. Sheetmetal benders (duct fitters), pipefitters, and esp. sprinkler fitters are more lucrative. But to be a unionized welder there is very little fab to do. Cut parts are set on your bench and you stick 'em together.

I'm not saying its bad, if its something you enjoy. Just if you were to look at trades there are other possible routes to go.

Went to the May Day concert in Indy yesterday put on by a radio station down there. Saw Halestorm, Puddle of Mudd, Three Days Grace and a few others. I've seen Three Days Grace before and they put on an awesome show both times. Lots of beer and sunlight, I am burnt all over. Whoops.

Still held by X103? Never went to MayDay, but I've been to the music center several times for concerts.

Yep, still put on by X103. First time I've been out to the music center, most of the concerts I've been to have been up north. Not a bad venue, just having the sun beat down on my all day wore me out. Finally by about 8pm we had some shade.

XJ with a shit-ton of rust=1
Cheeseman with no cage installed=0

got a lot done today but unfortunatly the XJ has me double guessing my plans. Had a guy call me about my boat today. It was not forsale, but he made an offer and it is now going home with him on Tuesday morning. Easiest sell I think I have ever had on something I was not trying to sell. We use the house boat more now a days and this boat just sat..used it a few times a year after we had akid.

Wait... so you have a boat? And then you also have a house boat?

Farming is rough huh? :D

I remember when 103.3 was classic rock format- I think I was a senior in high school when they switched over. Now the songs I used to hear on the "new" X103 are playing on the classic rock stations. Feelin' ollllllld.
