Just to give you a bloody good example of why I have little respect for the developers.... new middleware installation, and one of the developers claims I have a permissions issue on a transfer directory. After finally getting her to display the error, the problem actually started well before her supposed issue, she's actually writing to the wrong flippin' location completely. And this is from one of the better developers.

That just sounds like you work with some stupid people. I have run into quite a few career software developers who couldn't network their way out of a cardboard box or really handle anything outside of their area of expertise. If you want a jack-of-all-trades, it's so much easier to get a network or sysadmin guy to learn how to program than it is to get a software guy to know about infrastructure.

For most of my life I swore I'd never be a programmer (went to school for network engineering), but things just happen I guess...
 
Oh, there are some real winners here. And some of them have window offices.
 
Happy New Year Y'all. It's 4:30 am here in Wisconsin. 2009 was a decent one for me. Waking up in 4hrs to drive 3 for a 4th annual ski trip with friends. I love how I feel busier during this time of year then any other. Jeff went to MTU i know he know's his sh*t, doesn't seem like he gets the recognition though. Love my jeep cuz i dont have to think twice about driving anywhere, got some blowing snow in this neck of the woods that seems to have presented a problem for some.

Sorry /drunken/ rant off.
 
Happy flippin' New Year.... just crossed 23 hours straight with that upgrade. It's been a long day & night. Looks like it's finally going to run, although I've got several days of rewriting a couple of utility scripts (odd, some features are not available under the newest O/S.)
 
Went to bed at three with a nice little beerbuzz.

Woke up pukin' at six. I think it was the popcorn shrimp, it hurts just to type the words...

Woke up at 6:30 this morning to go to Redbird. Good turnout from what I could see, lot more ATVs and side by sides than I would have thought for being 20*, but at least they were wheeling. Picked up a couple new design Redbird decals.

The BBC got to tour Trail 0 and the first 100' section of 21. Backing up the hill wasn't as bad as I thought it would be :D

On a side note, I can get decals from RB and ship them to anyone that wants them. Let me know via PM.

Edit: Pics. They're not much different, but different enough.
