Important

For online assignments for school we have a discussion board set up to talk about topics from class, nothing like drinking some beer and being a post whore for school work.

So I thought I would end my first break at work by saying 5000 beeshes! :D

Gonna be a long day. Two jeeps to power wash, clean the interior on both jeeps, three axleshaft u-joints to replace, front brakes on the wifes jeep, starter on my dd, and get my front and rear hitches installed on the wheelin jeep. I need to make a stop and get more beer.

Ouch, You must be going out this weekend.

Going out on the boat, yes. I will be camping on the boat for the weekend. The jeep won't be moving until the Fall Color Run at McCaslin the second weekend in October. It needs brake lines up front and out back along with the hitches.

I might be buying a vehicle soon that doesn't run. I'm not too worried about getting it onto the trailer, will probably just use a come-a-long since I don't have a winch on the trailer yet. But, my driveway is sloped and I need a decent way to pull the vehicle up into the garage. Any advice? Hammer drill with a masonry bit to put a hole in the concrete, then use those metal sleeves to put a lag bolt in and hook onto that?

Find a vehicle with a bumper of about the same height as the vehicle you are pushing and put a tire in between them and push it in.

We use an ATV with a tire tied to the front daily to push vehicles in and out of the shop. Works great, just go slow if the bumper is plastic.

:duh: Didn't even think about that. Simplest solution is usually the best...

Yep, it's plastic... this is clearly a way easier option for me than drilling into concrete. Thanks guys for playing Mr. Obvious, sometimes I get tunnel vision and overlook the simple stuff.

We backed my BIL's cherokee into his garage and turned it so that the winch was centered in the other bay. Winched the not running car up to the jeep, moved the jeep and pushed the car the last 12'. Was pretty simple, but took some spotting to keep from driving through the walls.

Looking for an opinion. I have a 4.5 RC lift with full leaf springs, shocks, coils, adj track bar,adj lower control arms transfer case drop, and sway bar links. The lift was on a rig I scrapped and was never put on the road or used for wheeling. The Jeep was set on fire by vandals and the interior is toast. It burned the outside from the door handles up. The springs were put on on the day before the fire. The shocks were never bolted on and are still in the boxes. What would it be worth to sell as a package in our Midwest area?

Yes, to me. :D

Well figure what you need to get from it and put out a feeler.

It's been a good day.. The correct rubbers showed up...

Now I can put the Jeep back together.:D

live from outside of San Antonio. Had a great hunt last night and heading out the door right now to do it again!

I decided to try a new beer yesterday. The name (Dead Guy Ale) Rogue oregon brewed... It's very good. A bit pricy at 10.99 a six pack.

Finally charged up one of Rev's batteries and wired up the power wheels. Kids are having a blast and the batt has lasted about an hour so far with them running it pretty hard in the grass.

Thanks Rev!
