Important

So the Doctor tells me this afternoon that I have high blood pressure (again), I have too much stress in my life and that I am over weight......I can not believe that I just paid him to tell me that, shit, Stevie Wonder could have seen that :D So, no more soda/coffee in the mornings (or through out the day), low sodium diet and exercise in my future....1500-1800 calories a day max..I usually do that on my first trip to the buffet!! So the way I look at it is a Special K breakfast bar in the morning, skip lunch and a 12 pack of Miller Lite for din-din

no mention of nachos in there either...

That blue one you picked up a year ago?

You might want to reconsider crowing about that in these here parts.

And, just as a data point, I got almost 21mpg in my CTD on the Chicago run last weekend.

I traded my '95 F-250 PSD in on the C4C program, I got a 2009 Scion,
Sweet Ride YO!

Pics or it didn't happen.

That truck is worth more than $4500.

Hang in there, man. My blood pressure has been high, too. I was popping 4 diet mtn dews a day, eating bad, and no exercise to boot. I cut the dews in half, eating not quite as bad, and started riding my mountain bike 2-3 times a week and it has come down to acceptable levels. And my changes feel natural now, but I need to take the next step. I applaud you for going COLD TURKEY, but don't feel bad if you have to back up and do it in steps. No charge for this session :roflmao:

Eric

P.S. - mountain biking can be almost as addicting as jeepin, lol, after you get past the initial pain.

Yeah that initial pain is the kicker, I haven't been on mine for a while. I think I need to swap out the racing saddle for the comfy one that came with the bike. I have moderately high cholesterol thats heriditary, and it is amazing what little physical activity can help.

I've had to watch my carb intake for.... 13 years now. You can have my caffeine when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

I had high cholesteral a few years back and dropped it 40 points in 6 months by exercising and change of diet, and lost about 25#...and that came and went and I am my own worst enemy when it comes to food. A buffet is not a place to eat rather it is a challenge for supremecy :D I actually threw out the bag of cheese in the nacho machine a few days back and did not replace it with a fresh one....I am saving that for Pig Gig :chef:
