Important

Tomorrow's my final for summer school (Heat Transfer). The teacher flew through 4 chapters yesterday because he took his time at the beginning of the semester. Yikes.

Which brings the question, what am I doing here?

man i hate driving

i would rather drive on F-ed up roads than put up with all this faukin construction around here

Dude.... yer in Hammond, aka Chicago southeast. There's winter, and road construction.

And for the record, I do *NOT* miss Chicago traffic, not one cotton pickin' little bit. I made a flying run down to the western 'burbs last weekend for a tape library replacement, and ended up sitting stuck on IL53/I290 southbound in Itasca after somebody did something stupid at the I290/I355 split.

Wifey found a huge wooden swingset/fort thingy for the kids for cheap on craigslist. Brought it home tonight, and had to use the XJ to winch it into the yard through the gate; opening wasn't big enough to back the trailer through. Felt good to use the XJ for something other than a driveway ornament.

Nice score Byron! Our kids use theirs nearly daily. Now, you need to build ramps on either side for them to drive the powerwheels underneith it. It could be a good place to park it too! Excellant work area too!

<chuckle> Been there, done that. 5 years ago, I moved one of those big wooden playsets for a friend of mine in Grayslake, IL. Jacked it up with a Hi-lift, slipped under a couple of 4'x8' sheets of plywood, and pulled it across the yard. 10psi in MT/Rs didn't even leave tire marks on the lawn.

Good idea on parking the PW Jeep under there. Fully assembled it is approx. 15 x 10. The swings come out on the end facing the XJ and a tire swing apparatus comes off the back, with a slide and ladder on the front side.

Moving sale price: $300 + beer and diesel for my buddy who towed it from Terre Haute.

MTR's?
I'm surprised you aren't still trying to dig the Jeep out of the yard!
