Important

I have spoken to several broacasters this morning.....

WTF is wrong wth people?

Did they not have enough notice?

Gonna be a LONG day for some broadcasters.

I think that most folks figured that there was no way that the Fed would mandate a technology change. Those people had obviously never seen a Federal Agency make everyone change out their old equipment before.

Atleast everyone had plenty of warning, and government assistance to upgrade their stuff or buy new. PBS has been running a 1hr do-it yourself HD changover program for some time, probably a year.

It's going to be a while before people adapt.
Rabbit ears are out (tried them 4 years ago, they sucked)
Areas that were Fring areas for analog are going to suck rocks-period.
Anybody who had ghosts on their screen with analog will now have blocking and intermittent sound.
Transponder Stations are going to be another kettle of fish entirely.

I see an increase of Dish Network and DTV sales coming up ;)

Since my wife works for the local cable company, she has been hounded by people about the switch. It's pretty simple really... if you have cable or dish, don't worry about it. If you don't, get cable :D

I got two sets of hood vents for sale :D

What kind of vents Rob? Do they have drip trays? I gots to have some drip trays if I get vents.

You don't need no stinkin' drip trays. My XJ sits outside year round and I haven't had a bit of trouble with having open vents. FWIW my Z34 vents sit over the power dist. box on the P/S and the brake master cylinder on the D/S.
