That is a good idea!

On another note: Poison ivy sucks. I did catch a bunch of fish, but it was not worth it.

that or i have good luck with tecnu extreme, its a scrub.

Been dealing with poision ivy for 4 days now. If I had been more consistient it would have been better by now I think.

I washed with dawn within 5 minutes of contact, most of the areas of contact did not become inflamed. only the crease inside my elbow, which I scrubbed with facial soap the first day of inflamation and it seemed to go away, but it keeps coming back. Annoying, but not unbearable.

At one time I had some prescription strength something ( I can't remember what) that dried it out within a day. I wish I could remeber what it was, (thin liquid highly evaporative, but not straight alcohol.)

Starting to get all my pieces for my lift together, along with a bunch of other stuff to make my jeep a little more tolerable to drive. Got some new adjustable RC LCA's, new rear shackles, and I'm working on a bunch of other stuff. If anyone has anything they care to donate, I'll PM you my addy. :laugh3:

Can't buy everything at once because that will throw up a big red flad with my financial advisor(wife) but I can spend 100 bucks here and there and she doesn't seem to mind.

I'm seriously thinking about picking up some cheap retreds. I know what most of you will say, but I've heard nothing but good things about these tires and I know 2 guys that run them without any issues. http://treadwright.com/SearchResults.aspx?catID=0&Strname=&CatName=All%20Categories&treadwidth=&profile=15&diameter=&loadrange=&isgreendiamond=-1

I am not sure what price range you are looking at but I have an Expy for sale. We put a factory remfg motor in it a year and a half ago. The new motor only has 36,000 miles on it. I may even consider meeting you half way if you are interested in buying it.

Take a look.

Thanks, but I'm probably just going to throw a new transmission in mine towards the end of the year and hold on to it.

Good luck getting $7450 out of yours, I couldn't get anyone to look twice at mine when I had it posted for $5k.

Rev, didn't you know you're not supposed to volunteer for anything?

I get it really bad, usually head straight toward the hospital once I start seeing signs of breaking out. They have figured out that they need to give me the shot right away. Once they didn't give me the shot, it got really bad and I tried burning it off with steel wool and bleach, went back to the hospital a few hours later with a bad chemical burn.

I've had my eyes swell shut, nose swell shut, gap between my head and ears disappear, fingers swell so much I can't move them. I had it in my mouth and throat once because it was burning in a campfire, that was a lot of fun.

Turns out it's not poison ivy. I've never had poison ivy. I knew I was in it Sat. so I just assumed thats what it was. Upon further investigation.........

Chiggers.

Acetone does the trick. Apply in liberal amounts.

I've felt pretty good today actually. No itchy itchy pretty much all day.

Ended up buying some DOM tubing yesterday for half the price of what I was quoted for HREW, from the same supplier. His explation was that while steel prices are rising, electricity prices are even worse. It now costs more to create HREW tubing because of the welding involved. Don't know if it is true or not, but definately interesting.

You need to go back to that guy and kick him in the taint.

DOM has a welded seam also, it is just smashed flat. You know, Drawn Over Mandrel.

I think I would find a new supplier. However, he did just sell you DOM for under $4, which is not ridiculous (compared to some places).

On the poison ivy note, I used to be immune to it also. Have rolled in it playing paintball and stuff on more than one occasion throughout my whole life and never had it. Now I have had it twice in the last 3 years. SUCKS.

That is what I thought, DOM is HREW with an additional manufacturing step. It is starting to sound like he is back-peddling from giving me a rediculous quote on the HREW.
