I used a large flat head screwdriver to remove the ice. It worked very well, but now I have scratches going across my windshield...

My first choice was a ball-peen hammer, but I figured I might break something.:eyes:

Never use the long edge of a speed square.

Or your license plate.

But it will work in a pinch.

I just got one, three hours in my driveway and one tank of gas later I gave up.
The SOB snow plow man left a giant two foot tall mountain range in the driveway. He plowed the whole alley to my side of the street. There are no drives on the other side of the alley. He will be getting a call tomorrow!

Wow.... How the mighty have fallen... :moon:

One pass at night with my snowthrower, one in the morning.

The village idiots cleared out the end of my drive, after the village idiots plowed me shut....

All my vehicles are four wheel drive.

There is no need to clear.

Even the wifes LR3 makes it in and out....she just turns the magic dial and presses the magic button and whoooooosh.

All of ours are 4x4 also, but Sean has this thing about how it has to look neat and clean on the drive way. My grand cherokee went over that mountain he was complaining about just fine.

Lar-I finally am reading about Ginger. My prayers as well. Erika (our dog) is my baby. I would do just about anything for her. Please keep me updated.

She is doing a lot better, she even has eaten her dog food two days in a row.

Our driveway is pretty steep, with a wooden bridge at the bottom. Last year when we got about 7" of snow my truck made it about half way up (F250, powerstroke, 4.5" lift, 35" BFG ATKOs, rear locker). While I was slowly working my way up the driveway with great difficulty, my wife passed me in her WK grand cherokee without any troubles, and made it all of the way to the garage. That was with the stock street tires, it has the ABS based quadradrive II.

Since then I've put some 30" tall Bridgestone dueller AT/Revos on her jeep, can't wait to see how it does this year. Thanks to Sean's example, I'll be pulling the front air dam off this year too.

Last year my wife punched through the city's snow dam at the end of our driveway in her Durango without thinking twice. Took forever for the snow to melt out from being packed into the grille :D

A pic of the buggy before it was tore down:

Going to make some changes before I put it all back together, not going to compete with it, so I'm going build it for trails. Really need to figure out how to get some more weight on the rear.

spare tire is a nice look... and really helps to balance out a rig...
