Oh, and I would love to meet Rev...Im serious about that. I've often found the guys I spar with the most on the innerweb are the guys I like in person the most.

you don't wanna meet that guy, he's an asshole ;)

Well, not trying to plan your trip for ya, but might I suggest an early dinner with Randy, then after traffic has settled down, head out here to Crestwood for some homebrew. I'm sure if Rev's not otherwise engaged he could make it, maybe a few other MWCers as well. What date are you coming?
Even though you couldn't make it out here to corn land, we may show up at your place to pick on Ryan.
Hey if three nat'l BOD members are present, it will be an 'official' event!

3 higher ups at one place, sounds like the perfect time for an attack.

It was cold...I was drunk...and tired...shut up!

Good new's. Got my new tranfer case drive chain today. Only $76. Now just need time to do it for the snow fly's. Anyone done one ,Alldata say 3 hours, but I call BS, w/ air tools I was thinking 1 1/2. What ya think if you done it?

Ok, so I wanta ask some of you snow driving fookers a ?. Like I said in a earlier post. Got my transfer chain today. When I get it in, I want to put an aussie or lockrite in the front only. I got around allright last winter, but I had 300 pnd's of wieght in the back. Living in a snow state would lock you the front or rear? I have a CJ w' posi rear and it's scary to drive on ice.

And before you start flaming me, I'm happy on 31's ,with 3.55. I just think that a locked front would pull thru snow better, say giving 6 or 8 inches of snow.

It will pull better on the straights, but it will push in a turn. It just takes some time to get used to it. Don't go crazy the first couple of times out in the snow or better yet find a empty parking lot to play in. JIM.

Lock the rear. Far easier to control if things do get nasty.
I'd rather deal with a little oversteer than no steering at all.

When you accelerate the weight transfer to the rear of the vehicle will give you more traction with a rear locker.

Thanks for the replies guy's. Now I gotta pull the cover & see if it's 27 or 29 spline, or get to know the dealership parts gal better & run the VIN. Damn 96 XJ's.
