Important

Tell me why in th he11 everybody thinks they have to have over a bill for used TJ flares? I've been searching e-bay now for four days, and just about every one of them is $100+ for a set. I tell you that rise in minimum wage is sucking us dry!

Sorry felt like whining. I'm all good now.
Oh and these are beautiful so I'm reposting them.

Moab 08 was a hard decision to make. We either go to Moab 08 and skip every wheeling event from now until then to save for it, or go to our usual wheeling events including Winterfest 08 and not be able to go to Moab 08 due to lack of funds.
It will be hard but I think I am saving for Moab 08. The 85 will be done by then and ready to go.

Get ahold of Okie-Fab.
I know he has some bullet-proof X-members.

AJ is already working on one for me. Until that gets done I figured I would just carry a spare.

Nothing against AJ, he does nice work.
Several others here have seen and used the Okie (under the Cabo Engineering name) piece.
Extra kharma points available for supporting a MWC guy getting going.

I have no idea what he offers. He doesn't have a webpage that I could find his products and the only ones I've seen were his tank skid/receiver which I am more than interested in. I saw the one for the Winterfest raffle and I think it would be more than Rev proof enough for me.

My back.....HURTS!

I layed in bed all day yesterday. When I am able to walk, I walk like an old man.(No offense Les.) Pain standing, pain setting, not fun. I could barely get in the Jeep to go see the Chiropractor. Oh well, could be worse I suppose. Work should be interesting this evening.

About the c-member. I have a Cabo Mfg. unit.
I think I have a pic somewhere. I'll look.

I suffered some carnage this weekend.

Axle LCA bracket is only being held on by the extra weld to the coil bucket that I put in there when I was mounting the Rock Krawler 3-link.

Front passenger tire kinked the fender, rear tires massaged the rear fender wells some more.

Brand new radiator has a hole in it because I am a dumbass, anyone have a better way to mount electric fans? I ripped out fins when I tried to poke the little plastic things through and they finally started leaking last week.

Oh and I replaced Katy's saggin ass rear springs with the q-tech heavy duty replacement springs and now she has vibes, and the rear shocks are at least 2 inches too short. The rear is about 2 inches higher than the front now too. On the plus side, I removed her old rear anti swaybar and it sure rides much nicer now.

go see the Chiropractor.

That is your first mistake. Try seeing a real doctor.

Hope you feel better soon.

I agree here. My boss just recently had his back go out and tried the chiropractor twice with no luck. Went to see the doc a couple of days ago and is on the road to recovery.
Take it easy Mike and NO LIFTING!!

This chiropractor guy is cool. He's fixed me up before. I gotta go back in the morning. He's even a Jeep guy at heart.

On another note.......my Chinese neighbors have been quite entertaining this morning. They weed their drive way. They sit in the driveway, and dig up each and every weed, roots and all, and stick it in a bucket. (Got Roundup?) All this while arguing back and forth quite loudly, speaking Chinese of course. They have been leaving and getting rock from somewhere, I think they are getting it out of the alley. Hauling it in the trunk of their Neon. Just thought I'd share that. It's been the highlight of my day so far......:looser:

They run the restaurant uptown......true story.
When Bailey (our dog) starts being a PIA, we always joke that we're going to tie her up at the neighbors.

Here's a shot from my vantage point. I could see alot better if I'd go move the XJ, but it hurts too much.:D
