Important

my rig has sit in the shop(s) since WF except from when I pulled it from one shop to the other and took off the wheels to put on the new tires. I started to prep stuff for the cage install, but it is planting season around these parts so the Jeep sits and waits for rainy days. With the look of the forcast, I will have plenty of Jeep time over next week....rain, rain and more rain forcasted.

Boo Fawking Hoo!
Farmers,
"It is too wet, too dry, prices are too high, too low..."
"Look at my new pick up that I haven't washed in three months...."
"My 2010 pick up isn't as good as the 2009 I traded in..."
"I need to get another new side by side so the kids can drive the old one down to the bus stop and I won't have to send the hired man down to get it every morning..."
How do farmers double their income?

Put up a second mailbox.....

Hey, now I told you that joke!! :D I wish I had a side by side!! and I drive an 03 Chevy gasser as my personal truck.

Now that's funny right there!!!:laugh2::roflmao:

That it is, I even laughed at it, and myself :D

Top three lies farmers tell...

I don't make no money.
Weather's the worst I seen in years.
I paid for this seed corn hat.

I make a little money..at my day job!

Weather is actually pretty good this year as compared to the last 3 years. I actually have all my corn in and gonna start on beans this afternoon if the ground is dry enough.

And HELL NO! I did not pay for my seed corn hats. (actually in the long run I do) When I drop approx $150,000 a year in seed costs, I better get a gawdamn free hat or two!

well, I better run out and check my mailbox....(s) :illegalflipoffsmiley:

seeing how I am a farmer and I work for the USDA that joke is told or heard at least daily around these parts.

<chuckle> Dad said for the last couple of years that he bought a $50k hat.... and got a free tractor.

Farming is a crap shoot, and at the mercy of the weather.

What's the best way to end up with a small fortune in farming? Start with a large fortune.

so true my friend, so true...the worlds best accountants are farmers...they can juggle more money and end up w/ nothing all at the same time.

Bored at work...does anyone have a graphic or chart that will tell me how much net horsepower I gained from my stickers?

if you take a stock HP reading from your XJ and then using the HP index from the stickers that were installed in conjunction with the downward force that is gained from the added weight of the stickers, divide that by the increased wind spead that you will gain due to new shiney stickers, add that number to your reading from your coolness factor and then multiply the combined reading with the reading that came off your cool rabbit hat you were sporting at WF Oh-Ten and it will give you absolutely...nothing.

Well, lets see. Stock HP is somewhere around the murrrrp...cough...waaaaahhhp...cough....vrrrrooooom..... That's going through the first 3 gears, so Im rolling like a buck12 by now. I need the HP index for the stickers. The downward force is aprox. 7.2 psi and my increased wind speed is 2. My coolness factor (as we all know) is through-the-roof and my rabbit hat is a +4.7321.

hmmm...I really thought the rabbit hat was at least +/- 9.6969. and trust me your increased "wind speed" is much more then that..I think I have smelt it before....

Ok, so giving the data with an estimated SI (sticker index) of 37.4 and the new rabbit hat figures...I would guess Im putting down about 14.9 HP less than before...Dammit.

Andrew, you ought to be familiar with these types of conversions. You have the understanding that everytime a blue oval comes off the wow-bling-geezy factor goes up like 285.9 points over the average. And of course all my figures are exact since I use decimals. Except for the estimated SI which is, obviously, estimated.

if anyone is bored, look up "Danzig and Hips Dont Lie" on You Tube...read the subscripts on the bottom...good stuff. Who ever put it together did a pretty good job of merging the two...

I saw one of those once that was Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club mixed with Paradise City. Now, I can appreciate the effort to do the mixing, but really? The Beatles and Guns & Roses shouldn't be even in the same sentence together. Except in the sentence saying they shouldn't be in the same sentence.

the captiopns are the best.. "You make danzig wanna speak spanish...sombrero..Robert DiNero.." "Woman!!" "Yeah!!""
