Important

Well, dad should be here in about half an hour then, I am headed to the lake for the weekend. I may or may not post depending on if I have reception or not. Finally have both my bumpers. I may wait to put them on until I move in to my buddies place. I gotta tow a trailer and the hitch is already on there and ready to go. I know the bumper can handle it but Its just easier to wait until I move some of my junk starting Monday!

Got our flights booked for Hawaii next year, $20 total thanks to frequent flyer miles.

And no conflict with Winterfest this time party1:

Well if John scheduled his vaykay around it,....it sounds to me like it's official! Make an announcement already!:guitar:

:D We actually schedule our vacations during Lent, as the steakhouse Cindy works at, in the Irish Catholic South Side, is not too busy then. But we have to be back for Easter. Next year Lent doesn't start until March 9th, and I just kinda assumed that WF would be the previous weekend.

I've got two pockets full of lint, sometimes I get it between my toes too.

I appreciate everyone's opinion's and idea's. I have talked to the War dept. (Fiancee') and we are going to use the Jeep as a family vehicle for a bit. I talked her out of a bigger vehicle for a bit. I told her that we only have one kid and none on the way, so we do not need anything bigger or a car payment.
She did talk me into upgrading her 93 Toyota Corolla. She wants a Chevy Malibu Max. I know nothing about them yet. I hope they have a decent track record. I wanted a Yota Avalon. Guess me getting older I want some more luxury.

Check out the Nissan Altima's too. They've got a bit more room than the Malibu.

We just bought a new Malibu a few months back, it is the LT2 loaded w/ all options minus sun roof and the V6. It is a nice car and scores 5 star on everything but rollover, and nothing will have 5 star w/o an internal roll cage. We opted for teh 4 clyinder due to teh fuel efficiency. I am 6'3" and tip the scales at 235 (yeah, I have been dieting :D) and fit in it great. Plenty of leg room and head space. We looked at Toyotas, Hondas and Nissans and none of them were near as comfortable as the Malibu to me. The fit and finish of the Malibu is nice as well, ours has the woodgrain and leather options and it looks sharp.

Check out the Nissan Altima's too. They've got a bit more room than the Malibu.

We looked at Altimas and Maximas and they did not have the leg room or seat adjustments in teh front for as much comfort as our Malibu, but that may not be as important for some that are not as big as I am. I really liked the looks of the Nissan products, but simply just could not fit in them. And Chevy has an as good or better warranty (if needed) then Nissan as well.

I am jealous Byron, enjoy that well needed vacation.

Not to rub salt in the wounds, but here is where we are staying: http://www.amazingviewsofthesmokies.com/cabin.php?id=89

We were supposed to stay in this one, http://www.amazingviewsofthesmokies.com/cabin.php?id=84 , but the well pump died and it had no water.

Edit: It's been 3 years since we have been able to go on vacation. We will certainly enjoy it.

Edit again: Funny how we're on vacation but I still brought the laptop to get my NAXJA fix :D

Mac, You are with a race team, right? You are being sponsored (paid) to drive your truck, right?
You ought to check and see if you need a class CDL to drive that.
I am betting you do.
If so, you will need a medical card and DOT piss test for every driver.....

Just a thought,

sean'don't want the man hassled by the man'R

I don't get paid anything.
Only our fuel is covered by the sponsorship if we get 8 MPG, below that we are paying into fuel too.
We do it cause most of the time its fun.

Not for hire.

I'm going rec wheeling next weekend and taking my 34ft bumper pull to the badlands with one of my jeeps and chaz mj. Maybe ill make a stop at the weigh station for that one too.

My truck is rated for 33k gross truck/trailer so we are still good for a truck camper.
Trailer axles have 13360
Front truck axle 5200
Rear axle 8320

mac 'has a 2011 koh qualified buggy in the trailer' gyvr
