Picked it up Saturday.
It's not a 1 ton dually towing beast but like I said, for what I'll use it for....it fits the bill. If the weather gets that bad, I've got an excuse to fire up the Jeep.
Family hauler/odd jobs truck first and a tow rig second. It's got the 5.3 in it, 3.73's/Limited Slip.

It will do the job just fine! I want a Dodge with a Cummins in it eventually but it will most likely be a 2wd because my dad has a 4wd one and its a little hard for me to get into!

Be careful with those Cummins. The injectors are usually not tuned very well from the factory.:D

Mike, that 5.3 w/ 3.73's will tow just fine for ya. That is what the Tahoe has in it and has towed my junk all over the US. The 4 door and wheelbase will make it comfortable as all get up as well. That is the same truck body that my tow rig is but mine is 3/4 ton w/ 4x4 and 4.10's....which equals 9 MPG about any time.....I am going deisel in the near future! :D You will be very pleased with your purchase...it is like my trucks "mini me" :D
 
Thanks guys. On the drive home (2.5hrs) I got 19mpg. Granted, that's with just me and Bubba with no load. It should suit us well.

My dad was looking it over and said, "You know, this will last you a long time. Reaghan (she's 7) will probably drive this."

I kinda got sick to my stomach.

Yeah I keep thinking, Wyfies Uplander on an S10 chassis and D60's would be pretty sweet. I think it'd be a pretty tight squeeze but I'm pretty sure I could squeeze a SBC under the hood.
 
got about a foot of snow on the ground now....I hate snow, that is all.

Due to some years-in-progress never-ending construction, getting to our Denny's is not for the lighthearted. I wouldn't even attempt it for a free Grand Slam, that's how bad it is.

Is it just me or is Denny's the opposite of White Castle? I always walk in thinking "ehhh this probably won't be that great" and then when I leave, I'm actually pretty happy about it.

Snow is piling up here... brushing off snow is getting old. I need a bigger garage.
 
90 minute commute this morning, normally, it's just under an hour.

Not sure what's happening here in MN, but the roads have not been maintained as well as the prior 3 winters I've been here.

Edit: 5-7" of snow since Sunday afternoon, another inch or two predicted for this morning.
