Important

Well in the old Jeep I ran the sliverstars in the 95. I decided I'd give these a try seen a lot of good things about the bulb's I purchased. Big thing was they weren't overly bright. I'm going to mess with them a little and try aiming them lower or getting a darker bulb sleeve for them before I I give up on them.

it's pretty damned impossible to make a LED replacement have the same light output as a halogen bulb, which i why LEDs in a halogen reflector housing will nearly always suck.

Projectors or full replacement housings with proper optics like trucklite or JW speaker.
There's a reason LED lights that don't suck cost $500.

it's not going to matter how far you point them down because the problem is scattered light far outside the cutoff, because the LED bulb puts light out in the wrong spot.

Anyone have experience with explorer sport Tracs? Might be picking one up

Same problems as Explorers. That means some are good sone are bad. We have had more bad then good ones, milage and age does not matter. I personally do not like them, rides funny and gutless but thats me others will very. Take it for a long test drive thats all i can say.

I agree, I just decided to listen to reviews for once and give them a shot. I'll probably end up buying the upgraded harness and throwing the sliverstars back in.

I just drive around in the dark with my aluminum foil hat on with 2 tactical flashlights taped to it and a single speaker ghetto blaster over my shoulder playing Cool and the Gang. Some times I wear roller skates, but they are the speed skates so its cool.

Looks like this project gets underway soon.

Are these all yours Nate or do you build them for people? I bet you got a pretty good collection of them.

It more about the flavor than the smell, an over abundance of fromunda can be a bit pungent at times, thus taking away from the oh so sweet cradling of the cheeseballs.

just mine.

and some photos of dad's.

Let's just say there's a reason I store airplanes at work and not at home ;)

the latest project

That's the horizontal stabilizer for a ME-109.
Fully 3d printed planes are a reality these days and it's mind blowing.

Ugh why do I have to have such issues with change!

Guy I used to work with just informed me that he could get me an interview working with him. The pay is starting at $6 more an hour plus better benefits.
On one hand, I'm comfortable where I am now, I know the equipment, and I like the people I work with, not to mention a typical day is pretty laid back.
On the other hand, I should make advancements in my career to better the life of my family.

Then I run into the what if's. Like what if the new place tanks in a year or 2.

Adulting sucks.

SAM'still haven't switch my pension from the ford dealer yet'SET

I replaced all the guts in on of my toilets today...

what a shitty job...

mac 'first time pulling the tank off one' gyvr

SAM you worried about changing to the place you are at currently a while back. Now you've made that change and feel comfortable there. You probably know you can do it. Just don't burn any bridges along the way and there's lots of options should any place go under. Eventually you'll be comfortable changing jobs and moving up like Hobag does.

mac 'then you'll be an a-hole boss like him ;) 'gyvr
